The vibe for the contest is really cool, way different than the typical event. Lots of time in the waves with chosen ones. The rules make sense. Judges are World class. It’s fun to see everybody in contention at the end kind of a behind-the-scenes thing. Nice work Koa and Jack🤙

This was a very good comp but have you been asleep for a week? The wsl Pipe comp that just ran (on every single metric) absolutely blew this out of the water.

Andy used drugs to help him cope with the WSL meatgrinder system. And now WSL pushes Cuervo , Michelob, 508.
The WSL is biased checkout the score they gave Tyler Wright in the semi final. They overscore their darlings.
Hawaii waves make the contest great, not the WSL. Hawaii is harmed, not helped by the nasty competition and drug pushing WSL.
