Sri Lanka is the first country in the world who looks after stranded tourists.They will provide u with free accomodation,food,familly away from family and even money.This commenced during the pandemic for stranded tourists in Ella.(Video available on UTube)No matter the economic crisis which is a global issue at the moment.SL will always be a paradise to tourists and its people as it has always been!
Cheap budget tourists trying to make money through social media ….these tourists must be taxed appropriately as they generate income while throwing peanuts at poor vendors they think they are generous but the local buyers are much more generous than these budget tourists
Someone need to relax here 🤡 of course of you travel for many month's you Will be in budgets .. usually the budget tourist stay in accommodation own by local and eat at local restaurant ... So money's go directly in the pocket of local 🤡

@@PudubatPudubat well I understand your point in the short term anything is better than nothing especially when there is a foreign currency crisis… however if Sri Lanka is to rejuvenate it’s tourism industry an influx of budget tourists would do more harm than good as it would be difficult to attract the high end tourists who contribute more by spending more foreign currency … hope you understand my point of view… surely the law makers in the island country would not want Sri Lanka to be projected a cheap holiday destination …as the island in my view has so much to offer
@@honestopinion3635 Not agree with you . Exist every kind of accomodation here ... Local survive with Airbnb's and cheap accommodation , we call this guest house . Own by local and rule by local so they need some travelers who like to and have to budget to stay on this kind of accomodation :)

Hey,how you doing i hope you don't mind me replying ,well well sri lanka still in an economy crisis but the nature still as it is,i think its not gonna affect for your holiday,now there is power(used to have a power cut too)so if you from uk as an example £1 is almost rs.500,(its like you can travel up and down from galle to colombo by train)so you know i mean,its gonna be cheaper for you,and the airport you are mostly welcome as always,sri lanka need the dollar so they need you for it,as a sri lankan i can recommend anybody to come in here,few of my friend will come soon too,i used to live in uk for 9yrs,yah dont worry all getting better part from economy,no more strikes or curfew too,ahhh i live in galle too,gimme a shout if you need me

I can not understand why you ask for everyone's name when you don't even take time to listen carefully, you just babble something and nice on. it is an insult if you even take time or effort say someone's name. If you can not pronounce look at the person"s face and say thank you followed by your name. He does not even give a second he just passes on. Imagine you are minding your own business doing whatever you were doing, someone approaches you and ask questions and then ask your bane and then just moves on without even glancing at you.
