I’ve started limiting my time on the iPad and doing other things for myself. I’m full swing into renovations on my kitchen. I’m 73, but I still do much of the projects or help my son get them done which is fun too. And reading too. Read one chapter a day. I’m with you I still prefer to hold the book and turning the pages is magical. Glad to see you are working on self care, that will really help as you come into scans you will be having for your health journey for the rest of your life. Mental health is an important thing to care for as it directly effects our over all health.
I love reading in the tub! Get the water as hot as possible and just sit and read👨🏻🍼😀. Of course I have to put on a ton of lotion and sometimes I fall asleep and drop my book😂. Then it takes a bit for it to dry out!

I am so sorry for you. I'm 73, and I have lung cancer which has spread to my lymph nodes. Life is so cruel I had breast cancer 8 years ago. It's so much harder this time, as I'm so much older. Don't give up. I have lost 3 stone. But I'm still struggling for two years with long covid. All you can do is look for alternative therapy. My thoughts are with you, and sending prayers. One day at a time.

I love reading regular books! I love that new book smell. I also love the old book smell of a book that has been sitting around in a library for many years. I just like the feel of a regular book in my hands. Also, I don't have to charge up the book if it's been sitting around for awhile. LOL

I love holding a book as well. I feel like it’s one of the only few things we have left that we can touch , hold and mark the pages . That it’s not in the screen. It’s the experience of the book it self. ❤

I have a friend and we are in Savannah Ga and her son was in Boston. He was maybe late 20’s and he had dealt with drug addiction for years. They had tried everything putting him places anyway he got a hold of fentanyl and it killed him and you know the police up there called the police down here and they just called her on the phone and told her I have never heard such a thing I mean, my gosh the least they could’ve done was driven to her house. It’s just cruel.

Hi! Fingers crossed🤞Will continue to pray until you get that phone call from your doctor. So happy it ended up being a phone call. You and Matt are blessed to have each other's love and dedication. I enjoy seeing the smile on your face when he is near! ❤️
The last results about the lung nodule were given over the phone- remember Matt and amma were in the car and Tiffany was walking up the street- sadly many Drs make phone calls giving bad and good results so it’s never a given if the Drs office says they are going to give you a phone call- used to be a time where they’d call and have a person come into the office on a Sunday and bring a friend/family member but those days have by and large gone!
