The bloopers though! Why are you so obsessed with me? Haha. Thank you for this video :)
I work at a print shop. Our shop (and most shops do. Even (staples) can cut and punch the whole ream to your size and punch for just a few bucks. Printed or blank.
So glad for this video!!!! Thanks so much!
I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching!
How white is the paper from Handy Forms?
Okay, wow! I never knew that’s how you cut those type of crop marks!! I always put a little dot so after it’s cut off I still know where to cut haha - this is so smart!! Loved the video:)
I’m glad I’m not the only one whose mind was blown when I found out that’s how they’re supposed to be cut! Clearly I still struggle 😂
@@perfectionismprints8584 Lolol!! Same here!! 😆
@@perfectionismprints8584 btw, thanks so much for shouting out my channel & all you said! You are so kind :) towards the end of this video my daughter was distracting me while I was trying to watch lol & i missed bits and pieces and came back to rewatch because I wanted to see your bloopers LOL!! The pesky cord kept making me laugh 😂 I loved working with you on this collab!! I’m so so happy with the turnout of our insert! You are such an amazing planner insert creator!
@@planwithbee5846 You are very welcome! And I know exactly what it's like to have small children causing a distraction haha
Thanks so much for sharing how to cut with crop marks! Mistakes and all it was extremely helpful 💓
I’m so glad it was useful!
I printed half of my 2021 setup before realizing my printer had the automatic double sided printing. Ooops! Thanks for the great ideas :)
Such a great feature!
I'm using a TN, A5, size so I don't need holes. Can I still print and crop around the edges but fold the paper in half at the middle crop mark? I can't find anyone with GTD inserts for TN A5. Thank you
This was very helpful! Thank you foe sharing the information.
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
THANK YOU! I had the idea to print on the sized and punched paper and didn’t realize someone had made a video (the previous video you did) until after I started purchasing things to do it. I never use printable inserts because I’m not about the cutting and punching. I bought a bunch of your inserts and then spent a very frustrating several hours not understanding why my printer hated me lol. This video helped. I was missing the margins part. 🤦🏽♀️ So thank you thank you! Now I can print out the printables I got from your shop! I totally wasted so much paper lol but I’ll try again in the morning with the help of this video.
Sometimes printers just turn on us for no good reason. 🤷🏼♀️ 😂 I’m so glad my video helped!
I was cracking up! OMG! I took to heart your recommendation for Handy Forms that I ordered Personal and Personal Wide pages. It wasn’t until recently that I understood how to cut using the crop marks, I felt so stupid when I realized how you were supposed to cut!
Thank you for sharing. I have ordered your inserts and, I’m embarrassed to say, am borrowing part of your planner set up for my own planner (because I don’t have a creative bone in my body) and am waiting for my Cloth & Paper order to arrive (how have I never heard of them?).
Great job on the video, and keep them coming!

I’m glad I could put a smile on your face! 😁 And I’m very flattered that you were inspired by my planner set up! One of my next videos will be a planner flip so hopefully that will be helpful to you too. Thanks so much for watching! 💕
Super helpful ! Thank you. I have the same printer. It's an oldie but goody I had no idea you could pull out the paper tray as far. I always mess up with double sided printing.
Glad I could help and thank you for watching!
love ur etsy shop and your inserts! Can't wait to see what new inserts you come up with. I think I already bought them all 😀😀
Thank you so much! I have a lot of new things planned! 😁
Thank you for sharing I love it :)
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
This is helpful. That said I personally hate manually flipping my pages hence I bought a printer that prints both sides on purpose awhile ago. Any tips on printing using double sided mode?
The main thing to keep in mind when printing in duplex is to make sure that you have your printer set to flip on the right side. If you're printing my inserts with crop marks (in all sizes except A5 or HP Classic), you want to set it to flip on the short edge.
Thank you for this video! I am attempting to create my own inserts to save money LOL.. I used Mac Pages to create my inserts. But, I cannot figure out how to get crop marks on my inserts for an easy cutting experience. Do you have any recommendations?
I'm not sure if Mac Pages has an option to export with crop marks. I design with Adobe InDesign and it adds the crop marks when I export as a PDF.
Thank you for responding! So after some trial and error I was able to do it in Adobe acrobat pro! Phew! Lol.
Two questions, if you have duplex printer why did you do odd pages and flip? Also, how to cut with the guillotine cutter and not cut off the crop marks?
I flip manually because it allows me to have narrower margins at the bottom and nothing gets cut off. I’m not sure how to not cut off crop marks with a guillotine. I would think that would be really difficult!
@@perfectionismprints8584 thank you! I will try the flipping method next time I print. And yes it is difficult to cut the paper, I tried yesterday-but the inserts ended up being the correct size-which the previous pile didn't.
Thanks!
What is the poundage of the precut paper? I'm thinking of trying it out. Thx for a great video!
Thank you! It's 120gsm, which is equivalent to 32 pound. It's very smooth too.
@@perfectionismprints8584 thank you so much!

I think you're referring to this video. I found that video after realizing how horrible I cut my inserts, and feel like there must be a way to cut them perfectly. Then I saw your video which shows the same step. But idk. Hehe
Can you help me understand why I’m getting a printer error message when printing on pocket sized handy forms paper. It says “paper measurements don’t match actual paper size”
Thank you!
Hi, do you know if your printer is able to print on paper that small? I know a lot are not able to feed it correctly. It might be too small for your printer to recognize.
@@perfectionismprints8584 I was assuming it can because the arms that come in on both sides of the paper go in to squeeze it if that makes sense 😂
@@MM-pj4bl to be honest, I would make the same assumption probably! What measurements do you have the page size set to in Acrobat?
@@perfectionismprints8584 I was actually using preview on my MacBook. Maybe I’ll try acrobat and see if it’s the same. Thank you!
@@MM-pj4bl Let me know if it works!
