I'm currently monking. Open Hand Laezel, Four Elements Karlach (fire elements only), Shadow Monk Shadowheart and modded in way of (no) mercy Tav. It's a lot of fun, early game it's hard to do crowd control but doing the goblin camp by dropping shadows at the entrance and murking everyone coming through was fun
You can get two Titanstring bows also, so they work well with the masks too. Along with Balduran's Giant Slayer and 30 strength, don't even need great weapon master but if you take it too you get +30 damage, -5 attack.
I'd be curious to your take on another, kind of funny, D&D character I made. Jasper Montgomery, he was a human, bard/lock. He was the son of a man named Johnny Montgomery. Who is literally the Johnny from the song The Devil Went Down to Georgia. Jasper made a pact with a demon to get his father's golden fiddle back after the devil took it and Johnny's soul and broke their deal. So basically Jasper is climbing the ranks to kill the devil and save his father and the fiddle. Silly I know, but anyways. Long story short: Hellfire Bard/Warlock who used a violin, "fiddle" as his weapon lol
@@HoboZone Thanks, man! I appreciate the acknowledgement. I just sort of had that idea, and since it was from base game 5E I figured it might be able to be replicated in BG3. Your takes are always pretty on point so I figured giving you the keywords "Hellfire", "Bard", and "Warlock" might catch your attention lol. Plus I'm trying to find my next idea for a new BG3 run. Would love to see what you come up with
@@HoboZone I realize earlier I said a fiddle was his weapon, obviously I meant his instrument lol. His weapon was technically a crossbow, so maybe the Hellfire Hand Crossbow? Jasper was a very gunslinger, traditional deal with the devil at the crossroads type of character, his father Johnny was obviously a very famous Archbard known for outplaying the devil himself. And when the devil finally grew tired of Johnny's fame and glory, he went back on their deal and stole back his golden fiddle and Johnny's soul as well. Which set Jasper Montgomery on the path to damnation of his own making. Making deals with crossroads demons of higher and higher caliber until he makes it to the devil himself. Each new demon he made a deal with and fulfilled a contract for gained him new abilities. He was, obviously pact of the fiend, as for his bard subclass I think he was valor because that's what was out in the PHB at the time, but I'd maybe go swords now, not only because its the best but also because of the flourishes with the crossbow.
There was a glitch was the advantage on saving throw while obscured armor, where if you equipped it while obscured, then gave it to the next person it'll stay even when not obscured. Much easier way of improving saving throws instead of Gloom Stalker 7, Resilient: Charisma, and a Transmuter's Stone: Constitution for proficiency in all saves. Fey Semblance amulet on a halfling gives them halfling luck, and gnome cunning too. So plenty of ways to overcome the saving throw mallus that comes with -3 int, wis, and cha. Especially if you build for 11 in each, only dropping them down to a -1 penalty (8 on each).
I've been waiting for this one. I've also been wanting to do a run where I pick the worst choices possible, these guys seem perfect for a run like that with the cursed theme
I love your videos... I was running a regression analysis on a piece of software today and was catching up with your recent vids and I just love this game and love your flavoring, so much so I got ADHD sidetracked and I had to run my reports twice lololol oops... Your approach is not min/max bull crap, it actually fits in the world and true to characterization
You know, everytime you make a build I wanna do it myself 😂 that patch in September can't come fast enough for us console players lol keep up the great videos!
I crafted a full Wildheart Barbarian party that uses the Chimp aspect in a similar way, on a halfling that will be thrown around, while I used the Eagle aspect for a Dragonborn. Here I felt that the Bonespike boots would clash more with their special jump action, since it's easy to cheese. You just need to carry along two crates in your inventory and move them around the battlefield to get the height advantage. I haven't started playing this party yet but I know I don't want to cheese it all the time. It's cool you still paid some attention to dialogue as a gameplay element, but with this group of martial prowess, a failed Charisma is not too big of a deal.
If I may propose a name specifically for the gnome “Dung” So they throw a dung middle around Also give little dude explosive blood from the blood vendor
Paladin! Also will u continue builds based off of gods from real/historic pantheons? Would like to see Freyja, Freyr, Baldur, Vidar, Ukko, Zeus, Poseidon, The Morrigan, Kukulkan, etc.?
For your consideration the monk
MONK!!!
Couldn’t agree more

WE NEEED THE MONK
Second Marriage and Danse Macabre would be great additions to the Arcanist when it comes to being a spellcaster with no spell slots

How or White do you find the second Titanstring Bow?
It's a rare occurence on Lann in Act 2, at Moonrise. It isn't guaranteed on every playthrough.
Thanks!

That's actually cool as hell

Really love the 4x Devilfoil Mask idea!

This is awesome! It's great to see some dwarves and gnomes too. Really wish this game had 4 subclasses for each. :(

When you do rogues PLEASE become the Slayer of Bhaal, that vendor has MUST HAVE rogue items.

“Dung”
So they throw a dung middle around
Also give little dude explosive blood from the blood vendor
Monk! Dex Open hand, Strength Open hand, Shadow theif monk, and mage monk! Heck, your str monk can use the gloves of dex and bone spike boots.
If the infiltrator was a Dwarf "No one tosses the Dwarf!"
My vote is for all bards. A traveling group of bards will have a lot of great options.
Done that already
Oh man, good option would be to dualweild the staffs.
Keep up the great work how doesn't like a murder ball
I never knew what those mask did I thought they were just grenade materials.
Paladin!

For your consideration the rouge
Consider “rogue” and then we can use your post as a placeholder
Barbarian already have advantage on dex saves. No need for acrobat boots 😉
whoops
Rogue or monk would be my votes
Could we get a Predator redux build with a bronze dragonborn based on Predator 2? Would be very curious to see how one captures his ability set
Or 2022s Prey
For "The Missile" does making them immune to fall damage prevent the damage they would take when being thrown?
It prevents most of the damage, but there's still a bit. Most of the time it'd reduced to just 1 though.
Can the mask take your score above 20? I know it varies for certain magic items.
And I had a feeling it would eventually get answered in the video. It sounds like the answer is YES! Woohoo!
Rouge next
Rouge next🤞
Hobozone loved my comment...
Omg hobozone loved my comment!!!
MOM MOOOOM!!!
ROGUEEEE
Can I ask what skin tone you used on the orc
Olive 3 I think
