With the exception of the troll and insane changes, I would like to see the map packed with more enemies like in the first cave. Just seeing numerous hordes of enemies, already missing D2.
i remember an old mod i played like 15 years ago called Chaos Empire ( i think it was a 1.10 mod), it was completly crazy and super fun. It had a ton of added monsters like the butcher and reworked skills (but not to the extent of this mod :D ). But the most fun part was the endgame content where you could farm for dolls and eventually craft amulets to transform into duriel, diablo and so on. Might be worth checking out :)
i played that mod too around 2006 or so, the forum is still online and it looks like a few people are still playing. I remember the mod bein bretty "big" in the german d2 mod community
Hey mrLlama, when D2R drops, are you gonna try hard 8man hell rush out the gate, or will you take your time and solo play through to hell to soak in the experience?
That arcane sanctuary map can be improved. Somehow, mix all the wings so you have narrow stairs, straight things, portals, etc in all of them... and the portals can take you to another side (i.e. from up left to down left). so you kind of move around like a headless chicken trying to avoid the ports, or going through them like that old pokemon level.
I'm just an hour in, maybe this was tried later on in the video, but have you considered that all those negative stats can cause the character stats to bug and go to int.max (if the stats are unsigned type and you try to go below 0 you would get the max value)
Can someone eventually make a compilation of all the crazy stuff Llama has said over the years on his streams? I swear there has to be 10 minutes of stuff funny and *allegedly* unintentional like "fisting dudes" to make everyone laugh their @$$ off
10 minutes of funny stuff over the years? Come on now, that looks like an overstatement. Also, it has to be at LEAST as funny as joking about "restraining orders", or calling certain countries totalitarian because of the lack of common knowledge.

Also just wanted your opinion on how many mods of the good ones even for Diablo 2 that you think will move over to the resurrected and if they will drop continuing to keep servers or drop the content for original Diablo 2?
If I may suggest a playthrough - and I don't know if you already did this - but it would be a LoD "explore everywhere and kill everything" playthrough, at least with the Amazon on Hell. It would tremendously help all players who feel that not fighting every enemy you come across is skipping the game's content (which is also my case). When I say "explore everything", I mean in the story order, which means that you'd have to get to the golden chest in The Hole, for example, while killing everything on the way, when you're in act 1. You wouldn't be allowed to complete act 5 then go back. You don't have to clear any area though - when there's a dungeon in an area, you go in and you just have to reach its obvious end (often the golden or super chests) while destroying everything on the way. That's my playstyle, and Hell is... ...well... ...hell. And no "save and quit" allowed when you see enemies you don't like, either. Given your knowledge and skills, I bet you'd fare much better than me and it would make for a very entertaining playthrough.
I also cane into the Llama world as a player that sterilized any area I entered as I went through. It seemed wrong to let any demons my character met live. But when you get to Hell... the game throws immunes at you. So “Sir Brian” becomes a required strategy. Notably, none of the bosses are immune. (Though I guess the Ancients also screw this up) But Llama’s focus is on speed. He plays his way. If you want to sponsor a run so he plays through the exact way you want, you have to negotiate with him. The longer the run, the more Llama Dollahs needed. In the end, Llama is the expert. But for myself, swap casting Amazon abilities to avoid paying for the higher damage output just isn’t for me.
This mod actually legitimately looks fun. Last mod that grabbed my interest was Hell Unleashed. The Single player portion for it was unfortunately not balanced(way too hard on SP since the mod was more geared toward multiplayer). Look forward to watching the rest tomorrow after work, bed time now.
@@whotookjimirocket not sure if the multi-player portion is still up but the sp part probably is somewhere to be downloaded though. If I remember right the mod ran on patch 1.10. So have to have the disk in the pc to play. Sure you could find more info if you look up diablo 2 hell unleashed mod. Really liked it a lot but hit a wall at around mephisto.
these are the kind of mods that makes me wish that blizzard would support moders so they can be used in d2r. Maybe even doing things like creating a workshop for them to make mods easier ! The d2 community is very creative and they should use them !

I'm playing a minion master and having a relatively easy time of it. The only runewords I have found worth anything is Peace (War) amn thule shael. Everything else, insight, lore, stealth, etc were complete garbage I have no idea what to do about physical immunes. Mages seem pretty weak but I dont see how blizzard or thunderstorm are going to be any good without lught/cold mastery
