I really feel like you would REALLY enjoy Verivery, they have VOCALS and their one of if not the most synchronized and best group dancers of the 4th gen. (serious they have some of the hardest choreo's and they are all perfectly in synch doing it) Also their music is SO different from the regular 4th gen catalog. They should be a top group but people sleep on them.
PS. If you decide to check them out I would start from their debut and move up cause you can see GROWTH with this group even though their debut is still amazing.

Y'all, can we appreciate the amount of knowledge he dropped here? Probably the most in-depth reactions I've seen for this group. Spotting the main dancer, analysing the vocal runs, styling and all the little things a creative can spot.

The 2 dancers that you were praising for both songs are the main dancers. The girl in the black tracksuit was the one singing the high notes for DM. They're super talented and a huge ball of joy and energy

23:30 It's an E5 belt!! Hayoung and Jiwon are insanely talented vocalists, and both nailed the E5. Nagyung who sings the "Doesn't matter" part of the final chorus is also an incredible singer, but I have a feeling since E5 is a bit out of her range (slightly lower than Jiwon & Hayoung's) she was able to put a spin on it that made it comfy for her, bringing it down from a belt into a more intimate head voice moment, which I really like! It paves a nice path through the garden of sound for Hayoung's whistle tone adlibs to bloom amidst the final chorus.
I love to see how every time somebody discover Fromis_9 they totally fall in love. They haven't had that big hit, and don't have that supertiktok punch others have pulled out, but they have such high-quality songs and performances...

The girl you noticed in the first dance practice (we go) in the black tracksuit was hayoung (she was doing the whistle in dm) , while the girl you noticed most in the other one (DM) is chaeyoung. ;)

and just to add up to how the GG are working after hours and still getting on time for the next day's shift, those high/whistle notes in DM where by the main dancer. the talent and versatility jumps out

R&B Red Velvet vibes. 1 of the best girl groups bsides in awhile…”Jihyo Vibes” is SAEROM (the leader & my bias) & the taller one “your girl” is CHAEYOUNG (Former JYP trainee, main dancer & my other bias lol)….SEOYEON is short blonde hair w/ deep vocal (main rapper & former YG trainee in future 2ne1)…JIWON (main vocalist) is also a former JYP trainee…HAYOUNG (“your momo”) is main dancer but has main vocal talent…arguably ace of the group…As a fellow reactor, I can say these girls are one of MY FAVORITE GROUPS out. All 9 of them carry their weight!! ESCAPE ROOM will have you stanning them 3 times more than you are now! I PROMISE!

Apparently there were a couple big scandals surrounding the nature of the survival show that created them (idol school) so the girls have dealt with a ton of backlash & im happy to see them getting the recognition they deserve!! Also, I believe they are signed to HYBE by way of Pledis!

I'm not a fan of many girl groups but Fromis_9 is definitely one of them. I started to pay attention when they dropped Love Bomb and fell in love with their music with Feel Good.

ok but u spilled fr most of the 4th gen bgs really prioritize super hard hitting choreography more than anything which is great but I haven’t heard a lot of different vocal tones

LOVED this reaction! I really enjoyed how you grasped and pointed out the details. These girls are SUPERSTARS and each have their own unique flavor dance, visual, and vocal wise. I You should also check out their performance video and the live performance of their song "Escape Room" The choreo and vocals are SO sultry and classy! The girls are all in suits and they look SO STUNNING! My fave live performance of it was when the went on The Show and wore red suits ❤

I'm ecstatic that you react to fromis_9! They maybe not my ult but they are my healing group. Every time I need to smile I always go to their music. The way they're singing, it feels like they are singing from their hearts and thus gave them a sentimental vibes. Also, the girl in the black track suit, Hayoung, don't let her cute appearance fool you. She majored in girls hip-hop back in high school and have fair share of dance battles before debuting.

They did a live band version of DM right after the release and Hayoung (the girl you liked in the tracksuit) does her whistle notes live. I would also recommend checking out their B side Escape Room
STAN Fromis_9! The girl in the black tracksuit (your Momo-lookalike) is the main vocal who did the Ariana-esque notes on DM. Love a versatile queen! All of them are so good! React to Escape Room (especially the dance/performance video), I think you'll like it.
Technically jiwon is the main vocal, but I mean if fromis_9 has two main dancers with her and chaeyoung, then Hayoung could also be another main vocal too lol. She for sure has the skill for it no doubt.

their early music is also really good but really different, its more anime/cute, check out To Heart and DKDK, then after they transitioned into more of a bubblegum pop sound with Love Bomb and FUN and recently have been releasing like disco-pop songs like the two songs you reacted to here :)

fromis_9 (pronounced promise nine in korean (no f consonant)) is under a company called pledis which is a subsidiary under hybe.
the one in all black, hayoung, is literally momo of the group. she's also always zoning out lol.
i think she might be their best dancer but i know she's known for her high muscle mass from always working out.
my biases are jiwon (the black shorts and main vocal) and jisun though, the two of the shortest members. they're soooo friggin pretty and cute..
jisun has the most alluring stare and vibe and jiwon's hype is probably unmatched in the whole industry XD

Please start reacting to more sf9, you are truly missing out love, their music is amazing, the vocals, the rapping, the dancing and performing, they literally have some of the best dance practices out there ( they are all just incredible dancers and performers, so in-sync and the choreos are insane ) you could literally make some amazing reaction videos of your dancer friends. I suggest tear drop, trauma, good guy, now or never, summer breeze, rpm and enough. In terms of dance practices, literally any of those songs would do but I especially want to recommend rpm, now or never, enough and good guy... just INSANE. I hope to see some one day. 🥺🖤
fromis_9 is not a recently debuted group.
They have great talent and songs, but they are just a relatively unknown group.
There are so many girl groups in Korea, and all of them have great talent. So there are a lot of groups that have such great talent but don't do much at the box office.
fromis_9 became known worldwide when HYBE (BTS' agency) took over the team.

they're not a new girl group they debuted on mnet survival show in 2017. they will have some small fanbase even before they actually debut but now they transfer to pledis and they got promoted and gaining some fans, attentions as well.

As a group, Fromis_9 in average have better vocal technique than other girls group which I know. Not the best but average better. I think Hayoung have widest vocal range, but best vocal technique is Jiwon. Jiwon and Seoyeon have best musicality (subjectively) in this group.

Literally the only boy group giving VOCALLY is Oneus, where Seoho is probably the only competition to Jongho,, and Keonhee and Leedo are both good and interesting vocalists tbqh
Come Back Home and Luna are great examples - but you're right, newer boy groups focus more on the performance than the vocals. (And honestly some of Oneus' music feels more 3rd or even 2nd gen which might be why I'm more inclined to them)
Also the girl you pointed out as looking like Momo is Hayoung! She's the main dancer and the lead vocalist doing the allibs at the end. She also used to be a hip hop battle dancer before becoming a trainer, just multitalented

Some Girl groups got great vocals and nice songs…if they r lucky these would chart as singles..they would be on top of the charts…but if u look at their album sales…a “nugu” or newly debuted boy group who isn’t nearly popular as them would have more album sales..why
Bcuz buying albums needs stans needs obsession…u buy multiple physical albums even and u don’t even use them don’t have a cd player just to chart
women dont have to work harder, its just that the average boygroup fan is generally quite extreme, they even supported that guy who was involved in the sex trafficking ring. boygroups focus a lot on their looks because thats what their fans want, the extreme fangirls focus entirely on looks, but when it comes to female kpop, if you noticed, the groups that focus on their bodies and sexualise their videos tend to do much worse. female kpop fans come for the music, male kpop is just visuals
I disagree with the female idols having more good vocalists part. Its not that deep, you are saying about patriarchy, but what I have seen that female idols are more popular than boy groups these days. Queendom 1,2 proves it. there are survival shows of boy groups unknown, cause not famous. boys,girls both work hard, lets not demeanize that. and lastly , There are so much good vocalists from boy groups ! 4 vocalists of BTS, Vocalists of EXO, Ateez, Golden child, Enhypen, TxT etc, they are so amazing with different tones and ranges! research a bit , I think you will find amazing boy idols with good vocals
