- The 1st Spellbinders Advent Calendar is here! I hope you will join me to unbox and see what Spellbinders has in store for us! The first 2 1/2 min are safe for all , but after that I am OPENING ALL THE DOORS! Please only watch if you want to know the contents. I hope this video helps you decide if this calendar is for you. 🙂

The Spellbinder advent calendar is better than the CC one, but the shipping charge is ridiculous. The dies are so cute and more useful. Have fun with all your advent goodies.

I agree is way cuter.
I think #21 is a die for a mandala (kind of like a doily). The circle dies are for the center and then you would put the "petals" all the way around to make a "circle-ish" shape.

As always, Spellbinders hit a home run!! I didn't get this calendar, but now it will definitely be on my list for next year. Much better than CC, which I've bought in the past. We're addicted to advent calendars here! My daughter is 17 and will never be too old for one. She said when she goes to college, I'll have to fill bags up and send them to her! We even bought one for our cats this year that's full of toys for them. We have a problem! LOL!
Hi PaperCastle! 🤗 I am right there with you! We have the large wooden one at the house for my 24 yr at home, plus sent 24 little boxes for aon 26 that is out of state, plus the y each get a chocolate one and each are getting a 12 days Disney funko Dtart wars one! Plus my spellbinfers and CC! So definately plan on sending one or multiples to college (she will have to share no doubt😁) They sold out in a flash but I did actually call and ask if they plan on more for next year and was told definately yes! thank you for posting this. I have been looking to see what number 21 was when I went to finally deal with my advent calendar box from last year, I found out that number 21 was missing from the box. I also noticed that there were some missing pieces to the number 24 which is the truck. your video is helping me to discover what I am missing from day 21.

Spellbinders did a fabulous job of putting this calendar together! I'd be far more likely to use just about every item in this calendar, as compared to the Crafter's Companion calendar, which had barely a handful of items I'd actually use. Thanks again for doing this for us. PS. I think #21 was flower petals and centres!

Thank you for showing all the details of this. When I got the email after their first-ever advent calendar, knowing their reputation and products, I pre-ordered right away. I’ve never purchased an advent calendar, so I was super excited about it. When it arrived, I set it aside to wait until December 1 to start digging in. I purposely avoided all sneak peek videos because I wanted to be surprised. On Dec. 1, I opened the first window. It was an embossing folder that took up all of the space for day 1 as well as part of day 9. Thinking that was odd, I looked for a video about day 1’s reveal. Upon seeing that adorable mailbox die set, I was quite disappointed. It was late in the day so I set it aside thinking I’d call Spellbinders in the morning. Today, after seeing the day 2 reveal and mine not being the same again, I opted to further investigate. After tearing most of it apart, while watching this video, I realized that whoever assembled my kit slipped the plastic trays on the wrong side. So, now, instead of opening a window a day, which is the intention of the calendar, I’ve opened them all. Aside from that disappointment, I’m happy with the contents, but I’m not happy with the over use of adhesive. I appreciate that the items stayed in their little sections, but the adhesive tore the packaging on just about every item, so I had to find something to put each thing in. That said, I’ll still consider buying one again next year, assuming they’ll get the kinks worked out. I’m super excited now to see the daily project videos to see what some of these things are and what is created from them!
Hello Carol! 🤗 I can't believe someone put them in backwards!!😯 So glad you were able to have a reference video. In past yrs I just put all parts to my CC advent in a bag, then go look back to see what each day was, this ur each went Into its own little baggie, and numbered! I will definately get this calendar next year and I will stalk the site early because I spoke with Cust serv at Spellbinders and they said the demand was overwhelming. I LOVE THIS ADVENT CALENDAR JENNIFER! I didn't evn know that Spellbinders was making one this year, silly me. I totally love everything in this one - all those awesome dies, folders, stencils stamps, etc! I can't pick a favorite lol! Which means I will be buying both in less than a week if they are still in stock 😁 Yes I could hear the smile in your voice too, your enthusiasm is always infectious! Spellbinders really made sure that everything stayed in place too. I thoroughly enjoyed this unboxing video! I really do love both calendars, they each have different and wonderful items in them! Love the Layering Stencils. I Like the Size of the Embossing Folders in here better than CC's little Square ones. Love the Sequins but I would use them as Embellishments on the front of a Card instead of 1 shaker card. ALL the different Dies .. Love those!! 🥰
So I Like this one a little more .. but I want them Both because there are things in CCs that I Really Like. LOL

@@4holidaysdesigns you will need to make multiples of each petal. you can even choose two colors to work with. I put the petals most cut into my machine just to see what came out.
@teamspellbinders ALWAYS hits it out of the park! So bummed I had issues when ordering and wasn't able to get one. Hopefully next year!🙏🏼 Thank you for the reveal, I was dying to know what was in it. My fave die set, which are so popular right now, are those nesting arches! I prefer brush fonts, not a fan of the font they're using now, but definitely staple dies we use everyday.😍😍😍

Thank you for showing. This is a nice advent calendar for their first one. I don't know that I favor one over the other. The spellbinders is more for year round which is good. I can only handle one craft advent calendar. If I get another one it has to be chocolate or something. LOL. All the best.

What does CC stand for?
I liked the variety of products in the Advent Calendar, but I wouldn't pay that shipping cost, nor would I buy more than one Calendar.
My guess for window #21 is a flower petal , you can either cut a plain petal or add the texture to the petal, and the circles are for the center... just a guess. 🤷🏼♀️

I enjoyed your revealing Advent calendars but this one and CC’s are too expensive in my opinion. I’ve purchased CC’s advent calendar every year until this year. Just couldn’t justify the cost.

Hi Nancy! 🤗 I looked at Spellbinders website and looks as though they do ship to Canada but the Advent calendar is showing as sold out. Sorry I dont have better news for you. I hope they make A LOT more next year. 🙂
The Spellbinders' advent is sooooo much better than the CC one... it's so disappointing it is sold out! What a missed opportunity for Spellbinders and their fans around the world 😕

They had a limited supply today but they sold out again BUT they didn't take it down and it has a button that you can get notified if they get more! So keep checking often. I put Advent Calendar in the search bar. Good luck!!
