I like this one better. There are a few in CC that I’ll miss but overall I’m happy I got this one. The picture of what’s in each box is a nice bonus! Thanks for being just like me I’ll open every box as soon as I get it!😁

Much, much better than CC this year. I hated to do it, but I skipped the Crafters Companion this year because it did not feel there was enough value in it. Spellbinders did a great job!
Hello Billie! 🤗 I think many will continue to be more and more selective as the prices continue to rise. I get it though...you feel almost guilty because yiu like the company and want to support their efforts. Or at least that is how I end up feeling when I pass on items. I am so please yiu like the Spellbinders. They really did a great job! 👍 🎄💕

Last year calendar was better. There are like 3 sequins, a few stencils, embossing folders and stamps which are not really useful coz of their sizes. Their stitch advent calendar is a better buy. The dies are beautiful and more useful.
I haven't seen a SB Calendar before, & I have to admit this seems to be a better value one to the CC one. Thanks for giving me a dilema 😅 x

Thanks so much for pointing out the pictures on the inside flaps. I opened all the doors and never noticed that. That has really helped alot. Spellbinders is better than the CC one. I wish I was able to get the one from last year.

Absolutely loved your video and the calendar, I was also seeing the ice cream one as a Christmas pudding with sauce Dipping on the top... So so so much better than CC's calender....I didn't even finish watching a spoiler on theirs. Thank you 💗🐋🐢🌼🍦🚗

I'm glad I'm not the only one who couldn't wait until December to open my Advent calendar! 😁Even though I already knew what was in it, it was fun watching you open yours. I didn't get last year's calendar, so I don't have anything to compare this one to, but I was really pleasantly surprised by the contents (although I shouldn't have been considering it IS Spellbinders). I've got lots of ideas for cards using these cute dies! Have fun creating!

When you first posted this video, I stopped watching and jumped online. I was able to get the last one in stock and what seemed like the only shop in Australia that had any left, so I grabbed it. And I just got it in the post today. I was intending to save it for Christmas, but I should have known myself better, that was never going to happen. 🙂 So I opened it with you! My compromise was, that after a quick look, I've put everything back and I'll start to play with it around Christmas. Did you say you were going to make some videos showing how you used the various items? If so, I would be very interested to watch. Many thanks and cheers from Australia.
Hello Heather!!! 🤗 I am so so happy you were able to grab the last one! Definitely put it all back away, in the box or in baggies...somewhere. I am pretty certain you will not remeber everything! I have yet to decide about making a video for each day only because there are quite a few (those that Spellbinders sponsors) that will have them out. And they are wonderful. We shall.see.
I somehow signed up for 3 crops in Nov. !! So I now have 3 weekends gone 🙄and then the Thanksgiving weekend, sooo unless I get started now ,not sure I will be able to fit it in. I will let you know though! 💕
Thank you for sharing. I like this advent calendar. Some very cute designs with the turtle and the whale. If I were to get an advent calendar this year it would be spellbinders. And yes I plan to watch AG Monday PM if I can stay awake. I looked on HSN for the nativity bundle, and I hope the price comes down substantially!!!!!!! Hope to watch a CC live on Friday. I loved that nativity bundle, but I already have the easle one and several of the pair CC collections , so I stooped myself. Shocking isn't it? Even though these are gorgeous! 😍 It did come down to $125, which I though was a great deal. Hope you got it so I can drool over your makes! 😉💕

I Ordered this one, their Stitched Advent, & the Stitched Add-on Kit. There were 2 in this one that i thought were just ok, but Love the other 22 Items. Whereas w/ the CC's Advent there were 6 or 7 items in theirs that i wasnt crazy about. So I think Spellbinders is way Better. They blew my mind.
Last yr i learned about Spellbinders advent too late, i was unable to get it. I really drooled over it when u did the Opening of it last yr. LOL

Hello Jill! 🤗 Last yr they only made a small amount supposedly. I had called and spoke to cust service who said they were shocked at the demand and would be doing a lot more this year. True to their word, this year is great! I also think the stichmas calendar was brilliant!

I thought the Spellbinder's is a way better value over the Crafter's Companion. I have purchased the CC before - not last years but the 2 years before never used anything from it.
Hello Debra! 🤗 I think that seems to be the popular opinion so far. I think the first 2/3 Yeats of Crafter's Companion Advent were the best. I just used 2 of the dies (sentiments).this week. I would be happier if they went back to that format.

Ok I bought this one so I can't watch 😂 it's the only one I want to open every day. I mean I saw the 4 on the back and the picture on the front is usually a die, so I already know 5 items. The SB description said 14 dies,c3 stamps, 2 Embossing folders, 2 stencils and 3 sequins. So I knew it was at least as good as last year 🎉 thanks so much for the reveal video

Hi Sue! 👋 I have had wax seals for ages. Love them! I generally make them on a silicone mat , multiples at a time. Cool, pop off, then ready to be added when needed. A bit of a hack there 😊 I have not gotten the better Press only because of the cost of all the plates that I am sure to want. But the results are gorgeous! Have you already picked it up? You never know what deal Black Griday may bring and I will get sucked in. I still don't have a hot foil machine either. Clearly I am deprived! 😂 would love to hear what you think of it. 💕
@@4holidaysdesigns Hi Jennifer! Last year, I picked up a set of Christmas wax seals from Michael’s. They were on clearance after Christmas so I didn’t get to use them last year, but plan to use them this year. Just started playing with them. I just received my Betterpress Letterpress starter kit
and am anxious to play with it. If you follow SB rules, then you will need to use special inks, paper, & plates. The bonus is that the Betterpress plates can be used in hot foiling, but you can’t use the hot foiling plates in the Betterpress as the hot foiling plates are slightly thicker and can damage your Betterpress system. However, I have found a few YT where they’ve tried the foiling plates on the Betterpress by removing a shim (system comes with 3 shims to accommodate either 118# or 220# paper). Found other YT using different inks & paper too. The paper is not cheap. I plan to experiment with regular card stock first before my finishing on the expensive stuff. I plan to do my Christmas cards this year with this system. I am waiting for my metallic card stock to arrive to get started. As far as hot foiling, I have both the SB Glimmer and the Gemini foilpress (yeah, I am spoiled). The Foilpress was just re-released as the previous platform warped badly. These TOYs can be addictive! TFS your sharing your hauls. Unfortunately, my HL is not store I frequent much anymore since the downsized the paper crafting section. SB has been releasing some wonderful dies too! Have a nice day.
I see stuff they couldn’t sell and low value for the most part. I used to like these advent boxes but there is no value anymore and it feels like a massive money grab. Thanks for showing it so it can save us some money to buy dues we really can get use out of.

wow what a joke !. One of the reasons I quit the old Spellbinders kits was the small dies. In fact a few of the dies you showed looked like ones I have from those old kits and never used. Sequins?!! Are you serious? Boy, with rampant inflation they must be delusional to think this is going to sell, But then, there's a lot of delusional thinking now days. Thanks for taking the time to show this.
