I think you hit it right on the nail. Thats a lot of stuff for them to add in. I also wish for a lot of that. Map skins for rank would be sick. Just some of the stuff you mentioned about adding in the game would make it feel more like a polished game. Right now it feels to cheap. Even if the rewarding system is tokens to use the skins or tokens to unlock the characters. Bundle packs are to expensive. I still be ok for free to play with half the heroes locked and you could earn to unlock them or pay a yearly fee to unlock the other half kind of like what smite did. Their is a way to bring in money for the game and still be free to play. That will also help develop and polish the game when more revenue comes in and also it would put this game back on a competitive market game play again. (esports and so on) Or even Friday Night Brawl games crickets. Their is so much they could do if they just drop their panties and just go for it.
0 I'm just mind blown ranked is released at this point devs must've gotten pressured into getting ranked out by streamers. they can't even figure out how to make matchmaking fair, they don't have enough characters, balancing is laughable reason why you mentioned grim so many times lol definitely not wasting my Saturday on this nonsense
Profile Tab is a major L in my opinion currently...it has nothing to do with the Profile, I'm happy you brought that up, that is one of my and my friends largest gripe...you can't tell how well you're doing, you just have to guess at everything. Predecessor’s gameplay is still utterly brilliant to me. And I do trust in Omeda bcuz of that. But damn I would love to see them be more active in adding features, especially the ones that seem so easy

I believe it was stated in the blog post. Other than that all your points were great. Even though the mode was fairly bare bones, there is something about a competitive mode/mindset that made me wanting to keep playing and playing. I love the idea of the slight map adjustments to make it indicate someone is in a ranked match. Overall, great video as always. Keep up the content!
Matchmaking is always bad when a rankedmode gets launched. Everyone starts off at the lowest rank. People that are good will climb up quickly, getting extremely bad teammates only a few times
nice touch with the brawl game coming to a conclusion at the end of the video. great points about ranked too! about the visual changes i think they should at least start with changing the colors or shapes of the UI in game, giving the mini map/items tab gold borders (for gold rank ofc) with some detail would be very cool!
I have a big one that seriously needs looked at by Omeda. The overhead map is too freaking small and the character icons cover towers, objectives, and other character icons. It’s a mess lol. Hopefully that gets cleaned up sometime
They should also fix the rejoin system , my game crashed in the loading screen , wouldn't allow me to join back until i restarted my console . Managed to get back and play the rest of the game ,win it and receive a -25 ranked point , 0 account and character xp and a 30 min ban because of "inactivity".... Basically there was no reason for me to rejoin the match
I agree on all of this, it just felt like a little better version of pubs with 1 ban and no mirrors. The bad matchmaking set aside it really didnt feel like playing a ranked match at all!
Having ranked time gated is the dumbest thing I ever heard. I think the way the ping system works is really bad. Every other game uses vgs with buttons. Pinging on controller is the worst experience I ever had when I want to communicate. It's slow, not precise and takes away your ability to aim.
I agree with the fixes but that being said I feel like rank needs to be put off until they can actually put out a good balance patch cause some characters are just towering over everyone example all I ever see being play in every game I play is sparrow and for good reason she’s beyond easy mode
Sparrow is the easiest to use and the easiest to snowball most games I played she was banned unless the carry had first pick. I always banned Gideon since he had aoe damage and is the safest character in the game
Idk if anyone had an issue with matchmaking I’m a master 2 carry main on omeda and all my ranked games are with top 50 players I believe there is a hidden mmr system in it but I could be wrong
My buddy is a grandmaster he hasn't played in months other than like a few brawls we were looking forward to ranked and sure enough they reset levels in one of the patches so he couldn't even play kinda stupid considering everyone that plays ranked is going in at the same level, I do understand they don't want smurfs getting access but still fucking stupid.

I think the only things they should change is group size, role swapping and banning 2 characters each time. It was bound to be a s**tshow when everyone gets put into bronze, but it should run for a week next time, not just a weekend

Role q is what I want in both rank and unranked. Select what roles your willing to play 1 through 5 multiple roles/lanes or select all 5.

Matchmaking feels no different than normal. It's essentially RNG for good teammates that's most important for ranking up.
