I love my classic 350. It’s my all year everyday commuter. Run from Bath to Salisbury every day down the A roads. The classic 350 definitely does 70mph without much trouble. Takes a moment to get there but it does it and it does it with such character. I would definitely recommend the first thing you do when owning this bike is fit a performance air filter. Completely changes the performance of the bike and gives you a little ooomph and more character. I can’t recommend the RE 350 enough.

He had the "ape hanger," bars and the "cat delete," pipe that replaces the catalytic converter. I think the catalytic delete pipe is available from Hitchcocks in the UK, but probably won't make Miss Nanny’s approval at inspections. 🙄 Great series, cheers!
I love travel vlogs. I originally started watching your channel to watch you and your father explore the English (and now Indian) countryside. The banter between you two is fantastic. Also, you have almost convinced me to start riding again. I haven't been on a motorcycle in 25 years. There are a lot of country roads in my corner of the world that an Enfield would be perfect for.
I’ve never really thought about mudguards before, but I recently had a chance to ride all my bikes over the same route on the same day. Roads were damp and dirty. The FatBoy and Himalayan, and even a Vespa scooter all needed cleaning afterwards but the Classic 350 hadn’t a mark on it!
Having the HIM 411 I can add: you need extensions for the mudguards! Then it'll be o.k. - not perfectly good but far better than modern motorbike - except RE classic (and perhaps some Indian models with their historical looks.

I rented the re 350 classic and 350 meteor earlier this year on a trip in Rajastan. The Meteor have the foot pegs moved forward compared to the Classic. So if you are over 170-175 cm definately go for the Meteor. Much more comfortable for a taller rider. Royal enfield should have thought about this before giving you the bikes...😅😅

The Royal Enfield 350 is probably closer to the horse riding experience than any other bike ... built for all roads and goes on roads, off roads and no roads.
in 1955 these were teated in the mighty himalayan mountains by the armed forces- heavy weight ensures good offroad stability against uneven terrains 2. it has more torque back then at around 32 nm so the engines ability to pull uphill instantly was more, So it was a great bike for that purpose and alowly over the decades it evolved to suit indian conditions. that same engine was in production till 2007 and is the most sweetest thumping engine -the Cast iron one beforw the UCE and J series but has many issues❤ it is the safest bike for india coz entire street hears the sound so everyone is cautious, no other bike maker gives so much metal and at so much weight and toughness right now in india ❤❤
The Goan is gorgeous! It would be a simple matter to mount Meteor foot controls on a Classic if you find your legs are too long for a normal sized motorcycle. The bottom “frame rail” is actually bolted on and only serves as a place to mount the pegs. The Hunter doesn’t even have that rail since its rearset pegs mount to the actual frame. Same with the handlebars. You’ll probably have to extend the wires and cables but that is a small price to pay to make the bike fit you. All bikes need tubeless wheels. Twice I have changed the rear tube on my Classic 350 on the side of the road. If it were tubeless I could have plugged it and been on my way in minutes.
Hopefully Royal Enfield offer the Goan features as catalog accessories. Royal Enfield already have so many awesome factory options and accessories. It would make sense to do this as well. One can only hope.
Bullet 350s have served this function in India for 80 years. Today, an Indian buyer must specifically compare these to the Honda 350s and Hero/Harley 440s to see if they have a better version of a bike in this class. Love your channel, though!
The 350 Classics are very strong too. I have had the misfortune of sharing the road with dumb f#%ks and had 2 collisions, once being rear ended when giving way at a roundabout and also had someone coming in the opposite direction do a right hand turn in front of me at last moment. On both occasions despite the force of the impact, no major structural damage to the bike. The Mudguards were bent especially in the latter, but the frame and forks got through fine.
Great vid. 👍 I used to do a lot of long tours, on tourers like Pan Europeans & Gtr1000's and they are great at getting there but shit when you are there and pretty shit as day to day bikes too. I went in reverse till l rode a 125 from Leeds to Spain, l think these 350's are the do it all sweet spot, and tbh these wanky guided tour "over landers" on hugely complicated & expensive bikes would be well to consider what they actually need for a fun long trip.
Blinking great videos guys, I am very tempted to get one as a second bike as a commuter bike but not sure about how it will cope with our very wet weather.

This classic line is in a strange place. If you get the 350 you'll desire more power, if you get the 650 you'll desire the 350 weight and ocasioal offroad incursions. There's the rebel 500 and the cl-c 450 but this royal enfield is the one that looks good...
My brother is about to buy a 350 but still can't make up his mind between a Meteor or a Classic. Meanwhile I'm super interested on that 440 engine, I assume this woould make bore kits for Himalayans more accesible
The classic 350 had never really caught my attention till now and they look lovely in the green colour scheme. Has anyone got any idea which saddlebag that is?
Is that a newer license plate? The old ones are actually quite big and I have been seeing these new ones some in red color in the newer motorcycle review. I don't really know if this is a motorcycle only thing or will also be applied to cars later on.
Absolutely wonderful India trip videos. I am the same size as the old man and was wondering how the Bear 650 would have been on the same trip you just took? In town is the 350 more fun? I noted a not functioning speedometer in one video, what mechanical issues if any did your group have? Thanks!!
The Bear would be awesome!! The 350 is a lovely bike! Relaxed, easy to ride, and very capable. The only thing that went wrong with the bikes (there were 8 on the trip), was a couple of loose mirrors; thats it! We never once looked at the speedometer! Unlike the UK where one has to be very conscious of speed, in case of getting photographed, in India your entire concentration capacity is looking where you are going, so we felt safer ironically than at home.
The 350 seems to flow on Indian rioads really well. Would a 650 be to much fort he rural villages and back roads.in other words would you choose the 350 or 650 to tour India.😊😊
dont have a car ride this 350 classic everyday for everything, its a hard bullet has long has you make the filters changes and put some w40 on winter. it will go forever

[11:24] The Scram, 411 is the same bike but it is not; it has been bored out to 440 ?!? Sorry, are you talking about a one off custom? If you wanted 440, the ideal engine is the 452 cc 'Sherpa' engine, ideal, proven technology, maybe with a quick fueling and gearing tweak. However, At.c..India mentions a similar story and claims an increase from 24.3hp to 25.4hp which will cost money and probably won't sell bikes. Is that a smart move really?
Great videos ^^ Can you do me a favor and turn off the AI voiceover in your settings? It sounds so awful when this AI voice from the early 2000s tries to translate it into German. Many thanks
@@MrDarcy-OlMan I know, but it's really annoying that RUclips translates it automatically and doesn't even save the settings. I have to put every video in English on over 10 channels. The leg guards are mandatory, you can find many good quality fog lights, in winter, during morning haze they are handy. Fix a pair of good quality fog lights on your leg guards. You won't regret.
Happy motoring ❤
Keep smiling remain blessed ❤️
Thank you 🙏
This classic line is in a strange place.
Free flow (decat) Indori Silencer ❤🔥
Subscribed and feeling healthy and strong 💪 thanks 🤩
Awesome, I told you it works 👍🏼
The classic 350 had never really caught my attention till now and they look lovely in the green colour scheme. Has anyone got any idea which saddlebag that is?
The saddlebags are on the bikes provided by Vintage Rides 👍🏼
Cool dudes.......l do have an Enfield 350 Hunter maybe l should trade it in ?
Is that a newer license plate? The old ones are actually quite big and I have been seeing these new ones some in red color in the newer motorcycle review. I don't really know if this is a motorcycle only thing or will also be applied to cars later on.
Was waiting for jog falls from a week
@@akshaym2628 that is in the next video 👍🏼
That engine crash guard is not necessary it is an accessory you have to buy separately not standard with the bike as the case with saree guard.
When you tumble and the silencer burns through the bone is when one would wish they had the guard installed.
Great video. Can you advise the brand of saddle bags and possibly where I can order from?
@@mikewilliams6089 the tour company Vintage rides supply the saddle bags, their link is in our description. Definitely message them and ask 👍🏼
You should collab with Dream Chaser channel or NCR Bikerz channel or Motorcyle Adventure Dirtbike TV and other local Indian Motorvloggers.
Does the Ol' Man have a name? I don't recall it ever being mentioned since I've been watching your videos.
Have you guys come across the Jawa motorcycles ?? They have nice classic design as well.
I think you’ll find they reviewed a 350 Jawa a few months ago
How is the low end torque of this model compare to the previous UC engine?
Pretty good. Much more than the 1995 model we had a quick go on in our Tour Of India Series.
@MrDarcy-OlMan thanks for sharing
So how much does the quality differ among the UK and India variants
@@TeawithJava We thought the quality looked pretty good on the Indian ones 👍🏼
The 350 seems to flow on Indian rioads really well. Would a 650 be to much fort he rural villages and back roads.in other words would you choose the 350 or 650 to tour India.😊😊
The 650 would also be fine. 👍🏼
The British plates are much cooler than the ones we get in the USA
What about the engine temperature in Indian conditions?
No problems at all 👌🏻
Excellent. No worries at all. Just remember to wear pants.
How is the long distance sitting comfort?
After a few hours we were a little uncomfortable but I think that would be the same on any bike to be honest 👍🏼
I own one and they will not "go anywhere"!
However, it is an adequate bike for me.
Well we went in places most adventure bikes would fear to tread
Morning gents! When can we expect the last two videos to be out 😁
Next one comes out today 😊 we’re having to space them out to one a week I’m afraid as we don’t have any new content at the moment 🥲
Are those OEM saddle bags?
They are LGP saddle bags I think 👍🏼
dont have a car ride this 350 classic everyday for everything,
its a hard bullet
has long has you make the filters changes and put some w40 on winter.
it will go forever
Plz do a review on Hero X-Pulse 400
Did u tried diesel Enfield...
No 👍🏼
what’s the name of your helmet? the white one
Click on this XL Moto link and look for a Stormer helmet 👍🏼

@ Thank you! Love your videos.
No, Royal Enfield have revealed the 440 Scram, as we said in the video. Different entirely from the new Himalayan
7:02 was ripe for a comment 😂
Haha nobody has!
Try bajaj platina 👀😅 true work horse
In the 'intro',..... unlike others..... thank you for mentioning India as one nation.... not two-four countries.....
Great videos ^^
Can you do me a favor and turn off the AI voiceover in your settings? It sounds so awful when this AI voice from the early 2000s tries to translate it into German.
Many thanks
You Tube automatically translates into different languages now, but you can still watch it in English if you change your settings 👍🏼
@@MrDarcy-OlMan I know, but it's really annoying that RUclips translates it automatically and doesn't even save the settings. I have to put every video in English on over 10 channels. The translation sounds really awful. Completely monotonous, without any emotion.
But that's purely against RUclips. I really like your videos and they were also one of the reasons why I bought a T100 :D
@ Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it our end. This is a new feature that RUclips has introduced. Awesome to hear you got a T100 from watching our channel 👍🏼
It's horses for course's and this bike just isn't on my radar.at all. That doesn't mean i think it's a bad bike it's just not for me.
Nooooo! That Goan 350 looks amazing, I'd buy that in a heartbeat (when I pass my test in the spring...) such a shame its only available in India!
Brilliant set of videos, really really enjoyed these, thank you chaps!
Great to hear, thanks 😊
I think Royal Enfield hire this guy to promote it’s bike 😂😂😂good 🎉
