Nice video but i have a question how can i use the filter bar in other pages
Very impressive....keep up the good work brother...!!!
Excellent..👍
I love the hover effect. ty Ariel :)
Thank you :)
Awsome..
Many thanks for the great video ,
One question please , after creating many views , when I publish it to workplace , can I have only the first one ? So the users won’t see the other tabs ?
Oh, yeah sure that is possible, you can hide all the pages (excluding the homepage) but you need to have some kind of button embedded in your homepage to go to other pages .... Once you upload it, users will only see the homepage and they need to click buttons to go to other pages of your report.
Expecting part 3
Amazing
Please continue this
Coooool.
Nice
Great video, just one thing that I can't figure out how to do. You created the red X button just to close the filter. How can I add such a button which closes on click but keeping the filters that are selected?
I found the answer! In the bookmark menu, select the "..." option and deselect the "Data" option in bouth bookmarks
@@klsouls8191 thanks
Beautiful work, thank you
Thank you for the great instruction
I want to ask one thing
Filters won’t be applied when slicers box is closed by x (bookmark function)
It seems like filters cannot affect the bookmark once set (this case “CustomerHideFilter”)
Isn’t this be an issue in your report? If not, could you tell me how you solved it?
Thank you!
Hi Hajime, You're right, I forgot to do a simple bookmark setup here.. You can follow this: When you're in bookmark menu, select the 3 dots "..." option and deselect the "Data" option in all bookmarks. This should resolve the issue
It solves perfectly by that! Thank you!
cool !
Hi Ariel, this is a great tutorial, thank you! I wondering if you could help me. I replicated your steps but it doesn't work for me when I assigned the action to the shape/bottom to display the CustomFilter...I can see the tooltip but the filter is not being displayed...All steps before work the same as you have. You might know what's going on? thanks!
I have also noticed that when you switch between bookmarks the filters clear out to the default position?
Found the solution: you need to click ctrl and the shape on editing mode...but still haven't found the solution to problem 2...
@@salvador9403 yes I have the same prob, have u found the solution for it?
@@piyushdhami Did you guys found out how to solve this?
Amazing!!
The design looks good, when I closed the panel it gives overall year total in the cards instead to display the month which I clicked before I close. Can you help me how to fix this?
I meet the same ploblem. can u solve it.
I meet the same!
@@mmaiew I found the answer! In the bookmark menu, select the "..." option and deselect the "Data" option in bouth bookmarks
@@klsouls8191 thanks a lot!!

Thank so much Leonardo.. Glad you like it 🔥🤩
@@powerbiprofessionals My exit button is not working plz help me.
Hello sir, I am tryna working out using your tutorial. However, I'd like to know how the button actions for filters work? I click but it doesnt showed up. However, when I click control, then it works. But in your video, you seem don't have that problem cause u didnt mention about press control. Hope you can help me by telling me how does the show filter button works? your reply is highly appreciated :) thanks!
ow, sorry about that.. yeah, I'm pressing CTRL and click the button.. but this is only needed when you're in PBI desktop.. once you upload it to PBI online, there is no need in pressing ctrl... hope I was able to help.
@@powerbiprofessionals thanks so much! Yes it helps :) thanks again.
@@powerbiprofessionals Thanks this worked for me too
I did all the steps but the actions are not working. I am using the new updated version of the Power BI and the formats tools have changed. It is difficult to navigate through finding the buttons. I am also seing Blank values when I inserted the size as legend.
first one to comment,nice
Indeed... Thank you Jary.. Cheers! 🤩
my buttons are not getting transparent, only the fill background is working not the image and text, what could be the possible cause
👍
Hey, I managed to workout the issues but one remains... Filter section is not cross-page right? So if I filter something and change the report (page) it will kind of erase everything right?
Hi Arial,
The only problem after publishing this dashboard is - when we click over the blank area then the original box appears and good look of visuals is vanished.
How to correct this issue?
For example if we click over blank area of black rectangle box then I loss the buttons over there like product catalog and orhers
If you click the black rectangle and send it to back it’ll be behind the icons. I think you can also go in the selection pane and move the layers
MY CLOSE FILTER IS NOT WORKING PLZ TELL ME THAT THIS IS PREVIOUS X MARK BUTTON GIVEN IN ZIP FILE
In the product catalog page when we are selecting the customer filter button and also the close filter button both the time it redirects to the customer history page. any solutions, please.
Create bookmark for each image then Update your bookmark and go to format image field and give action to that page which you want.
Where i can find data sets
I tried to purchase the pbix file but unable to complete payment. Any help or alternative?
Would you mind if I replicate this and add it to my portfolio?
Hi Ariel, have a bit of a problem, whenever i am in another tab, when click the show filter button, it goes back to the first tab.
Yeah the bookmark is blinded to the state of the report when you created it, since he created the filter bookmark with it on the first page, when you’re on any other tab and click the filter, it’ll bring you to the state it was in which is the first one, not sure how to fix this though
If you’re using different tabs, instead of all different report views on one page like he’s demonstrating, you could just go to that tab and have a new show and hide bookmark for each tab
Someone below in another comment said deleting date nature solves it, might be worth looking in to
When I close the filter pane the filters go back to default. Anyone know a solution?
I believe I know the solution from a different video. Go to 4:24 of this video where he renames the bookmark. You’ll see “data” check marked. You need to un-check “data”. If “data” is check marked, it’ll save exactly how the data looks with whatever filters you have selected at that time of creating the bookmark giving you that “default” effect.
I click the customer filter and chose the month ,the filter can work, but when i closed the customer filter , the page return to the situation of all month be selected . the customer filter can't work after i closed it, can you held me ?
deleted date nature, i solved it ,thanks
@@maryzeng3619 How did you solve this issue? How to make the selections persist?
@@rahuldua3397 To make such changes, select the ellipsis next to the bookmark's name, then select or unselect the checkmarks next to Data
@Mary Can you please help me to fix this because I'm also facing this same issue.
Amazing
Thank you Cheers! 🤩
