Well, I got a FC-12 but somehow it sounds better when this guy is playing ... ;-) Tom is just great and Fractal are heroes!! Love my AXE III and my FC-12!! Great review.
I use a wireless for guitar so only 1 cable to deal with. The AX3 sits on a rack mount that looks like a amp head. Everything plugs in behind me so no extra cables and power cords. It's very clean floor.
*All in all, the only issue i have is, I have invested on some bad ass modulation plugins from eventide, valhalla and others! If I need to DUPLICATE a particular sound FROM THE ALBUM - per use of said modulation effects... HOW?!!*
Tom, that was superb, and I look forward to getting an FC-6 or 12 down the road a bit to go with my brand new Axe-FX III Mk II Turbo. I enjoy your reviews more than almost any other on RUclips - superb delivery, both spoken and played. I am just blown away by the Axe-FX III - a whole other level of tone quality, ease of recording, versatility and flexibility.
@@kevin-cisum yes, absolutely. I have a big smile on my face every time I play it, and it is so easy to create or recreate your favourite artists’ tones, using accurate modelling of the gear they used. It is by far the best piece of guitar gear I’ve ever bought.
*its sounds like they FINALLY STEPPED THE GAME UP! The AXeFX 3 sound immaculate, then the pedal set up, its a rap at that price point $2,100! They had to step up their game, raise the quality and reduce the cost - cause plugins were about to wipe them out! I just set a rig up with plugins and it is HEAVEN but this is far to tempting! I stopped looking at Fractal years ago, cause the price was DUMB and the quality was not there, as plugins were*

What about the ability to tune from the FC12? Did I miss it somewhere here?
You can assign a switch to the tuner, or assign a secondary function on a switch to bring up the tuner.

Yep, I own the Axe Fx iii(got it used) I would never pay new prices or $700 on a pedal like this...haha Nice products but I agree they are overpriced.
