This video monitor has a full HD 1080p resolution stream via parent app. It also offers a 5 inch parent unit and an IR Cut filter for great night vision! Ooh I love the 360° viewing option! We’ve been cosleeping for 18months, but I feel like my son is ready to be in his own room and I’ve been so stressed out trying to find a good baby monitor and worried about him being on his own. This is everything we need!

Is it portable? We are looking for a new video monitor that we can take with us on overnight trips. I see that it has a parent base but wondering if it would communicate to the parent base without WiFi.
Does the camera have to plugged in? Need one that doesnt have to be for my crazy toddler 🤦🏽♀️

We’re going to have to pick up a cheapo replacement, because taxes this year cleaned us out, and we’re struggling with a last minute, emergency move. I usually don’t enter giveaways, because I want the prizes to go to someone who really needs it... but this time I’m in! 😍😍😍
Also, I’m so glad I’m not the only one who’s husband falls asleep putting the little ones to sleep. Mine does every single night. I have to go in there 30-45 minutes later, every time, and drag him out.

Omg I can’t believe this is a giveaway!!! I’m having a baby boy after taking a long break my youngest is 8 years old so I feel like I’m almost completely starting over! I would be sooo blessed to win this! I told my husband the one thing I really want to splurge on if all possible would be a baby monitor! I take so many pics and videos (I’m one of THOSE moms ha!) so this again is one of the items I’m ecstatic about! I’m so grateful I came across this video! Seriously though, individual cameras are impossible to find. I've done some digging and it seems eBay maybe your best bet to purchase an addt'l camera. Even if you do purchase a monitor, I'm unsure if adding a addt'l camera is allowed with this model.
Btw, not even the actual VTech website offer their cameras to be purchased separately. What a bummer!

How loud is the speaker??? I just went thru 2 monitor's that are in same price range and parent unit sound is so low I have to listen right near me :/ need laud sound one
It has a great range. I keep mine more turned down because it can be loud if you want it to be!

Can you look back at the previous night's sleep on the app?
No! We have nest cams in other parts of the house and can with those tho!
I know this was posted a year ago, but we are desperately on the hunt for a good monitor! Does this one drown out noise from a sound machine so you can still hear if the baby cries? Ours now literally only picks up white noise from his machine 🙃
In my opinion, yes! We have always used a white noise machine and if you had the volume all the way up you could hear it. However we only had it up to the 2-3 volume setting bc when baby cries that was plenty loud to hear! And at that setting I could hardly notice the white noise

Is it motorized? With the arrow keys can I move the camera to look around the room to watch a roaming toddler while I'm in an adjacent room?

How many people can connect to the app to see the baby? We are the great-grandparents and we are buying this for our granddaughter. The parents and grandparents will want to chime in, and the great-grandmother will want to see every once in a while.
Happy to help!! I’m not 100% sure but I want to say that anyone who has the app and has it set up has access to the camera. My husband and I both would download the apps to any camera/smart device for the kids I’ve ever reviewed and he could access it anytime, even at work!
Hey how did you add the second camera to the parent unit?? Is there trick?
We don’t have a second camera for this one. But with our other VTech monitor you would hit the “pair” option in the menu of the parent unit and then the pair button on the actual camera

Does the cameras have batteries?
I have this one and stopped working after 6 weeks but because i got it at my baby shower a year ago there is no longer a warranty 🙄

Hi does this only work with Wifi? Meaning if your wifi drops out you can’t view your baby? Even on the parent monitor?
Hi, sorry for the late reply. Took me a while to remember to test this out. Didn't realize originally, but it looks like it doesn't work without being connected to the WiFi. You'd think it would still work without the WiFi.
You don’t need WiFi for parent unit. It pairs automatically. I just installed mine tonight. You need WiFi if you want to use App.
The parent monitor can use wifi for extended range but it can also do direct if that’s good enough in your house
Is this camera rechargeable? Or does it need to be plugged in at all times
Yes, it’s rechargeable!
Can you hear the white noise through the parent unit?
Hardly in my opinion. We have the sound continuously on and it does a good job canceling the white noise out!
Does it has alert when baby cry or when it has loud sound?
You can set for screen and sound activation if it notices a high level of sound. But be aware that if you use a sound machine it will trigger it constantly!

In order to have HD has to connect to wifi?
720p on the parent monitor which is basically HD. You’re not looking at a 56” screen. It’s 7” and frankly the baby monitor probably doesn’t have a higher resolution on the screen anyway

This needs to have wifi all the time to be connected all the time than.? Not just power and they will work like walkie-talkies
You need power for the camera and power unit to turn on. You need the WiFi for the parent unit to receive the camera feed. Also for anyone who would like to use the app and watch from another device. So yes, you need both all the time.
This is down a ten foot hall in another room and will not connect unless closer. Do not have wifi connected. When it decides to show it's great but not working for me. It's not that far away. Think maybe it's old or broke bought it new maybe was refurbished don't know.
Call VTech customer service! They’re stellar and may be able to replace it for you!

Yep, you can check the app anywhere you have an internet connection!

Per FTC guidelines and good influencer ethics I’m completely comfortable disclosing when I receive free products or give a paid promotion. However, how much I get paid is exactly zero of your business. I didn’t get paid at all for this video. It was an exchange of product for an honest review. I don’t talk about a “3 second delay” because ours doesn’t have one. It sounds like you need reach out to customer service. Ours works just fine to this day and is still our preferred baby monitor out fo the ones we’ve tried. Hope customer service can help
