I just found this video during my random YT surfing. I did not expect that I was going to watch something on RUclips 2 hours straight. My childhood was from the mid 80s to 90s in Japan, which is exactly when Hokuto No Ken started and occupied boys' everyday life reading the magazine Jump and watching the anime of Hokuto No Ken on TV. Thank you for uploading. Brought back my childhood memories.
the story of this game is definitely the same as the whole story of the original hokuto no ken manga however i'm still little bit disappointed that they did not somehow add the story where kenshiro journey with raoh's son ryu but what the heck this game is still kick ass,very awesome and manly as hell lol
The game might be repetitive in the long run, but I have to give it to Tecmo-Koei: the adaptation of the source material is very well done, and for all the trash talk Omega Force usually gets, it's clear how a lot of hard work went into this. I hope they get to have another shot at the series, once the Ryu ga Gotoku team does its thing with it.
I dont know if Im missing somethig obvious, but How do I put English on, or subtitles so I kow what they are saying? Obiously Im missing something or everyone here pseaks japanese?

well I think Kaioh stood out more for me, because he felt like a different character in the manga. rather than looking just like Raoh, with a big scar on his face, there were other differences in their appearance. Kaioh was much thinner and leaner than Raoh, with a more narrowed face, rather than Raoh's square jaw. he was characterized rather differently. he was almost completely, unequivocally evil, until the conclusion of his arc. it seemed harder for any redeeming qualities to surface.
of course there is, I downloaded the game off the playstation network, on my PS3. you could also just as easily find a physical copy of the game, just about anywhere. the dialog is still in Japanese, but with English subtitles. though I prefer it that way.
It's Bolge from the manga's ending. He wanted revenge on Ken because of a previous encounter they had and when he and Rin are adventuring Bat pretends to be Ken since Bolge is blind.
Just bought this game. So freaking bummed that there's no dual audio option like the first game and where is the beginning movie theme like in the first game? Otherwise it's pretty decent game...

In a way, yes. Though this game a watered down version. On the other hand, lots more story, and characters to use. Also I love using Juza who kinda dresses like Gene.
Most people that rant about the game being worse that the first have some serious mental issues. PLease the gameplay is less clunky than in the first. It has way more cutscenes instead of just some text and images. Also the story is told very closely to the manga. I started reading the manga after the first game and after I finished hokuto no ken 2 (Manga) I learned that the story telling of the first was terrible and a butcher to the true story. Then after deciding to play ken´s rage 2, I really wan´t hopping for much since most people hated this game. After playing it I discovered a very good game that was really underrated. God all the scenes in the manga are vey well recreated in the game also you got to play with more characters and far better gameplay. I just miss the names of the techniques being shown to you while the camera stopped and show you some very good angles. I know it slowed gameplay and sometimes it became a little lame after the 60th time doing it. But it could have been a nice feature tu include it too. Also it´s a shame that shachi is a little underpowered and his katsu hagan doesn´t resemble what it really was in the manga and in the anime of hnk2.

The gameplay has some serius issues like became too repetitive or the awkward grabbing system. But aside from that the game is very true to the manga and that my friend is something no game from hokuto no ken has achieved,
Just a little nod to Hokuto no Ken: Seikimatsu Kyuseishu Densetsu (2000, Bandai). It was basically the best adaptation one could expect from a full 3D remake of the first series on PS1. As with Ken's Rage, the gameplay wasn't exceptional but anything else was spot on.
Almost all of the fist of the north star "villains" aren't really villains they just got caught up with their ambitions and desire to become great that it blinded them to the point of villainy and it took Ken's fighting spirit to make them realize that they were wrong; but their heart was in the right place. Moral always think before taking action on something that effects everyone.
Kaioh was the only one i felt was recycled since just like Raoh he promoted rule with no emotion and in the end they both held on to there past emotions.Hyoh was a great character imo and when i watched it I remember feeling on edge about if his memory would come back and if they would work together to fight kaioh.I also remember moments like when kenshiros muso tensei was defeated,shaichi was possessed by hokuto souken spirit and overall the series had a lot of memorable parts.
what if they had the game devs..not develope a game..but a remake of the first series..they would have made way more money I think,with this new animation they could make the characters do what ever they wanted.
Toki and Ken have a very wholesome relationship, considering how Raoh and Jagi turned out

In the manga, Kenshiro fights the Colonel and Devil Rebirth after Shin. They changed that for the anime.
