I know this is late, but this video really inspired me to not worry about the technology I use to make games and just make them :) Currently decided to work on my game with nothing more than Rust and OpenGL bindings. I am currently rethinking life, but this video encouraged me to press on :D

I'm a student and planning on coding things, I will start on Python as my first language then will try C++ next, I hope I can make some games in the future.

That depends on what you would like to make, but focus and patience are two important things in my opinion.
Also, if you're a beginner start with small games, that way it will be easier to stay motivated.
@@MultsElMesco yeah id say get familiar with a launguage cpp for ue4 or cs for unity because starting out not knowing one of those will make it extremely confusing also you may want to learn the basics of blender if you plan on making a 3d game so your able to make your own assets if needed
