Not sure if you still got the chassis. But tamiya does release some killer bodies with their kits. I had 2 tt01s and a basher tt02. The tt02 offers a MUCH more rigid plate especially when you buy the “hard” option. I would keep this for parking lot type stuff, but look at a TA or TB. They are much more rewarding to drive and handle. I prefer shaft driven.
Cheers for commenting We are in the process of building the TT01 at the moment as we hope to race them next year at the iconic cup… check out our best of west London iconic cup video if you have not seen it before… I have raced the TRF416 in the past which is a lovely drive and I am interested in the TA cars … they are on my wish list.
We had a basically tamiya only store an hours drive from me. I got all my stuff there, one day I walked in and they were packing stuff up. They were closing. So I got all the hop ups for my db-01 and my df-03 for basically nothing. Would rather have a store like that near me again.......
What a shop I've got two builds on the go now the mk2 escort and the audi quattro rally iam pretty much new to rc and the only 2 model shops in Cardiff hasnt got anything in stock like this I ordered oil dampers for the escort in November and iam still waiting iam going to give these guys a call I want the aluminium up grades for mf01x chassis and TT02 thanks for the vid I've subscribed 👍👍👍👍
Welcome to the channel we have lots of Tamiya content as we race in the Iconic cup series which is a Tamiya race series. Some of the fastrax and yeah racing hop ups are very good for tamiya and often easier to get hold of. Fastrax are distributed by CML so easy for modelshops to order
If you have seen our Talbot race vid you will see that the TT02 is quite Racable straight out the box and there are lots of upgrades available. We have a lot more experience running the TT01e and have lots of guide and tip on how to get the most out of them. We plan to do the same with the TT02 cars so more content coming soon
My list 1. TXT 1 2. Bruiser 3. F350 High Lift 4. Blackfoot 5. Frog 6. Clod 7. Mustang GT4 8. Ford GT MKII 9. Fast Attack Vehicle 10. I would love to build a Abrams tank - Iʻll have to mortgage the house for a Tamiya tank. Can I send you my wishlist? Tamiya is so underrated in the RC world, and I feel that Tamiya offers the best engineered products for sale today and I donʻt think any other brand could demand high prices on NOS like Tamiya kits do.
I'm planning 2 Tamiya builds this winter. I've just taken delivery of project 1 which is a fun one - the Grasshopper II - cos I've always wanted one. 😁 When that is completed, project 2 will be either a Neo Scorcher or a Plasma Edge II - I'm still undecided.
Have you done an episode where you look at entry level RC cars? Going to buy my son a 1st one...had a tamiya as a kid but are they not the go to/entry level anymore?
Depending on age there are cheaper cars to get tuoi started such as the ftx comet which is a great 2wd buggy which we race at Sundon models. Tt01 is a great starting point for indoor carpet racing and is used in the Tamiya junior series. It depends on the sort of driving you want to do… let us know and we will point you in the right direction.
wow what a well stocked shop!, thanks for bringing me along. nice body choice
Your welcome thanks for watching
Don't know how I missed this video when it came out. Wow. You all have acces to a cool hobby shop.

If you were to choose a bodyshell. For me, the Raikiri GT is the closest to competition grade touring car shell. That is a tamiya of course.
Awesome store!
It sure is … great collection and varied stuck
Excellent shop, I know the owner :) Always got great stock of kits/RTR's/spares, and they can order pretty much anything you want!
Hello, what can you recommend to me as a beginner in rc, which is better tt-01, tt-02 etc, thank you

You're all over the place.
Control yourself.
Stop the buying frenzy.
Stop getting distracted.

Have you done an episode where you look at entry level RC cars? Going to buy my son a 1st one...had a tamiya as a kid but are they not the go to/entry level anymore?
We have done a few vids on the subject, the Brushless ftx vantage is a great entry level car👍

There was one on eBay recently though …
So many cars there and you buy 2 of the same car. How disappointing.
Very true! They didn’t have the Avatne in stock unfortunately, maybe next time👍😂
Childish, low class.
You need to LEAVE this hobby.
