I'll bet Day Traders would like it.
I know this isnt related to this video but what did you use to power the pi 5 in raspad?
Thanks
The Raspad supplied battery
@@leepspvideo thanks
Could run a whole macdonalds in-store menu
Sir,
.....it could be useful
for driving screens at a performance
and some installments of ART
exhibitions
Also, it could be a great "design" desktop environment for particular types of software tools
thx
ben
Can you cover Coral TPUs with a Pi 5 and LLMs? It’s cool that we can use PCIe 3 with the Pi 5 and get incredible performance
$225 to $335 USD
Imagine being in a cube with screens on the inside of all sides and using a 3D mouse.
It sounds horrible...
Thanks Lee this SBC looks good.
One use option would be to install in a mini-van for families with children and be able to play what each child wants at the same time…😂! Headphones are optional of course…😂!
Have a great day!
I don't see why using this would be any advantage over using a standard SBC for each kid, given you're already giving each kid a screen each. In order for a kid to have their own computing session on their own screen, you'd need to give them a virtual machine each with their own screen and keyboard - that is a complicated solution to build in the first place.
If you're going to drive all six screens simultaneously, that's 6 virtual machines shared across 8 CPU cores - plus it has only four USB ports so you'd need an additional USB hub to be able to connect 6 keyboards and 6 mice. If you're then installing it all in a mini-van, how are you going to power all of this stuff? And a tablet or Raspberry Pi already has at least 4 cores available to each computing session.
Also, what is each kid going to be able to do on this machine that they can't already do on their own cheap tablet or a Raspberry Pi with a screen and local power source or battery?
This is very much an industrial SBC that is probably great for driving multiple screens in a kiosk, or something like that. Lee has clearly been sent one to review but ultimately this really has very limited scope in the hobbyist space that Lee appeals to - although it's interesting to know it exists.
@@terrydaktyllus1320 I don’t say it’s the inexpensive solution, but I like a challenge. Plus when they fight the driver can shut the whole setup down with just one command. To collect 5 or 6 devices will be a pain that requires pulling off the road…😀!
No perfect solution….or remember that when I was growing up a computer for entertainment was shown on “Star Trek”. That the MW radio was our source of entertainment or book or toy…or getting into mischief with my sister.
Have a great day!
6 HDMI outs and 1 HDMI in? 7 times hell no! DP FTW!
