Dog that hat crazy. Damn. Drop the link to that joint playboy. Oh yea I love the pick up of the TE…I think one of the most needed positions on this roster.
I'ma give it a B-. First 3 offensive picks were HUGE. You're tripping a little bit on Ja'Tavion Sanders. That kid is NICE. He's very slick, and reminds me of a step slower Olsen.
I love the Leggett pick. And nabbing the best RB in the draft with a 2nd rnd pick is a good move IMO. I also think J'Tavion Sanders was a steal. Id have liked to have seen us take Payton Wilson with the 3rd pick.
And bruh you gotta stop thinking like that about undersized LBs, if you haven’t noticed that whole size thing is getting thrown out for a lot of positions, as a matter fact, look at the UDFA Mike backer from Maryland the Vikings picked up last year, ended becoming a starter, and had a BANGER OF A SEASON!! I believe he was in the running for rookie defensive player of the year.. and he is about 2 inches shorter than Barrett..I truly believe they picked up Barrett to play and get defensive snaps, he has a high football IQ, And already has his grown man body, he’s played a lot of football..he’s about the size of Shaq, and has him as a mentor..the UCONN LB is also another great coverage LB we picked up to compete for the other interior Lb.. and we go 3-3-4, Wallace in the middle, Barrett on the weak side, and the UCONN LB on strong side, bc both Wallace, And Barrett are elite blizters from the Lb position, and I wasn’t just having diarrhea of the mouth, I did mean ELITE blizters at the lb position. And will we’re at it, Wallace will average 5.5 per season.. game plan for Wallace is at interior lb, but if he can’t get his mind right(literally) to be the Quarterback of the defense, they’re gonna switch and use him as a pass rusher, bc he can do that, dude plays like an animal, all out every play, TONS of contact courage. Would be a great pass rusher, think Von archetype, or Dumerveil, or Hassan Reddick. .. oh yeah, draft grade is a B+.

The draft definitely left some things to be desired, but there are also things I’m excited about. I think our offense will look a lot better this year. The trade up for Legette was fine because it gave us the fifth year option. I don’t like that we gave up 2 fifths to move up in the second though. The draft was also defensively underwhelming.
You also had the bengals in front of us who traded mixon to texans, and a lock of mocks had him (Brooks) going to them. People freak out to much because we gave up two fifths (one that we recouped later), but now he is a panther and you dont have to be kicking yourself because you waited
I just hope these guys become contributors. Look over the last 4 or 5 years and see how few of the players we drafted are still on the team for whatever reason. It feels like we have definitely been batting under the mendoza line.
1000%. That’s why we’re on this mess bad draft picks. Paying bad guys to make up for those bad picks. Cutting those bad guys and having dead cap so we can’t spend either.
@@UBSportsTalk did Morgan keep the same scouts on board as last year because it seems like they drafted a few guys based on high RAS scores (DJ Johnson/Trevin Wallace)
Perhaps the OL Coach sees something in Zavala- he was actually good before coming thru the shit show last year. With better guys around he might have potential to be a good backup
I would give them a solid B. They picked up a 2nd round pick in next year's draft and still were able to move up without just turning around and giving it away.
I didn't really care for the draft as much as I did their FA moves. They could have stayed at 33(I'm aware of the 5th year option) and got Legette or McConkey and would had the chance of Kool Aid or JPJ at 39. I, like you, thought Benson and Theo Johnson were solid options. Don't even get me started on the Wallace pick. I give the draft a C with the best parts being the 2025 second and the UDFAs they brought in. They also had a shot at LB Cooper and Edge Kneeland. They would have been great in a Panther uni. I also liked Ray Davis at RB. At 5'9" and 212ibs he would have been hard to find and a hand full to tackle. Great work on the video, I appreciate your product and effort.
Brooks is hoped for McCaffrey 2.0. Looks like they are trying to recreate SF offense. Seems to me the first 4 picks were the guys they wanted ? Legette, Brooks, Wallace and Sanders were picked ahead or others. I think the opportunity to get Brooks may have surprised them and changed things a bit. They wanted THESE 4 GUYS. They were picking these guys if available. So I think they think this is a great draft for them. If the 4 stick it will be considered a great draft.
Came in with 5 picks and no first rounder. Left with 7 picks with one in the first and recouped your second round pick next year. Plus you got good additions on offense no matter where you picked them. It’s a solid B+ for me.
@@UBSportsTalk Those two positions are the only two that I wanted to see improved, but a lot of the best CB were gone by the 4th. If we had gotten even one of those positions, the draft would have been an A for me. As it stands, the picks with the 2nd next year make it a B+ to me
Yea it was a solid draft I grade it a B+ because of the draft picks we were able to get and players. There were players on the board a few times they could have got and instead went elsewhere. I’m hoping the linebacker is a dawg since Dan Morgan you would think knows. Bitter sweet!
It's a solid B for me nothing higher nothing less than. The first 4 picks are solid contributions to the team. The 5th pick is an aggressive ball hawk with that Dawg mentality like Dan said he wanted for the Team. I believe we will see the first 5 pick contribute considerably this season. As far as a gripe goes I do wish we would have taken Kool-Aid in the 2nd but it is what it is. We got the 2nd pick for next year back a win for the future.
BC deserves to be a starter imo. So I feel good with the line, cause of that, and think Zavala will have a better year (if he plays), and ofc Yosh is a nice insurance policy. LB imo was a bigger need than corner just because outside of Shaq (who’s old and coming off injury) and Jewell who I don’t know much about, we need a guy we can develop/add in there. Gotta hope Horn stays healthy and I’ve heard high praise from bills fans about Dane Jackson! If we could get gilly, that would be cool, but idk if we have the money to bring him in
Hopefully we get Gilmore because if we go into the season with this db room; good luck trying to stop buccs, or falcons lol. Not addressing concer back needs for 2 straight drafts is insane. We should've grabbed our future db round 2,and our future back round 3 considering it was only 3 backs taken in the top 100. We could've literally had the same draft but with the best db. If brook wasn't available in the 3rd get the next best back available; im sure he wasn't the only running back they had a eye on. C+ or B- I feel like since we started the draft off with like 5 picks and no 1st rounder and no 2nd round for next year then ended up picking in every single round PLUS getting our 2nd round pick back for next year, Dan deserves that type of grade. We also brought in a ton of weapons for Bryce. I’m not completely sold on some of the guys though and I don’t feel like we had to move around as much as we did. So that’s why I’m stuck between C+ and B-
Agree, oline still hella shaky, cbs shit honestly, wr room could Fs mid. And in the end its down to Bryce cause nothing will matter if he doesn’t turn up

Have no problem with taking Wallace in the 3rd. We need depth at LB and to get younger as well. We obviously didn’t like the CBs that were left enough to take over Wallace. Great draft. Idk why started this trash on Carolina picking a center in the draft but they have said from the rip that they were happy with Corbett at center. They aren’t going to pick center when they have one. Yeah he’s had injury issues the past two years but he didn’t have any before that. Im not a huge fan of grading a draft the day after. Not a lot you can do except compare to other ppl who have no idea. What i will say is this draft rides or dies with XL. If hes that AJ Brown/DK Metcalf type guy then its an A. If hes Mingo 2.0 its a D.
What up, doe. Trevin Wallace is better than that particular scouting report. You should go back and see the ridiculous scouting reports on Luke Kuechly. We Gamecock Gans remember Wallace having real good games against us.
XL is not as good as people think he is. His first 4 years totalled 423 yards because he wasn't able to even be a #2 WR during those years and they gave him the #1 spot his final year just because. Not a good pick.
Honestly they didn’t… The draft is STILL a C- in my opinion I like Johnathan Brooks & Ja’Tavion Sanders but I’m still weary on Xavier Legette because I need to see MULTIPLE years of him playing the WR position at a high level As far as the Kentucky LB I’m 50-50 on him and the rest of the draft picks I didn’t like. In my opinion we still need an Outside CB & a Center until those positions are addressed I won’t change my grade of a C-
I think we have a top 5 defense and if we didn’t have Bryce as our QB, our offense would be 15-17 best in the league. Seeing as how we have the worst QB in history, our team ain’t going nowhere. I would take anybody QB other than Bryce.
Still nervous bout that o line with a shaky Austin Corbett at center now. Also don’t know how icky will change. Deep center draft kinda sad we didn’t get one. Our cornerbacks still mid, wide recievers will be mid unless legette locks in. Like the te and see how brooks plays out

I don’t wanna hear none of that when we’re smashing teams in the run game. This line at least on paper shows we should be gashing people and the play action should be nasty. Another reason our offense struggled last year is because we could run play action because the run game was ass. If we can free up enough cap we will bring in Gilmore. We didn’t need a center. That’s why we didn’t draft one lol
@@markbensley138 panthers also said they don't want to rush him. I wouldn't risk playing him this year. Still should've grabbed db at 2,than brook at 3 if not available grab your 2 best running back. Give us a c because we didn't grab our furure db, didnt grab a future edge either. Even if we get Gilmore it will only be like a 2 year contract.
B- for sure
Sanders 🔥 bro he was rated #2 TE who did you want ???
Jared Wiley or Theo Johnson
@@UBSportsTalkBen Sinnot the second best but went early
Im not a huge fan of grading a draft the day after. Not a lot you can do except compare to other ppl who have no idea. What i will say is this draft rides or dies with XL. If hes that AJ Brown/DK Metcalf type guy then its an A. If hes Mingo 2.0 its a D.
Yea I’m pretty sure 1&2 will be edge and corner next year this class next year loaded
LOADED
Where did u find that hat man??
eBay and paid a pretty penny 🤦🏽♂️
yall better put spme respect on miles he still there
Endorsement?!! That’s wassup!

I like his accent but let's be honest. XL is 6'1 making him medium size WR and his 40 time was also avg
4.39 is not average bucko lol
@UBSportsTalk also doesn't make him a big body WR nor does a single year of production make him a solid rd 1 pick. Kiddo....
@@taylorbasri2032 lol so what was the point of this comment when half was wrong?
What up, doe.
Trevin Wallace is better than that particular scouting report. You should go back and see the ridiculous scouting reports on Luke Kuechly.
We Gamecock Gans remember Wallace having real good games against us.
What up doe!
🤟🏾🤟🏾
XL is not as good as people think he is. His first 4 years totalled 423 yards because he wasn't able to even be a #2 WR during those years and they gave him the #1 spot his final year just because. Not a good pick.
We should have taken tj tampa at the top of the 4th. I was so mad when we didn't, dude fell so far.
Honestly they didn’t…
The draft is STILL a C- in my opinion
I like Johnathan Brooks & Ja’Tavion Sanders but I’m still weary on Xavier Legette because I need to see MULTIPLE years of him playing the WR position at a high level
As far as the Kentucky LB I’m 50-50 on him and the rest of the draft picks I didn’t like. In my opinion we still need an Outside CB & a Center until those positions are addressed I won’t change my grade of a C-
and what are your credentials for this uninformed opinon D if Brooks and Legette wrk out, its a hellva fdraft, eveyrthting else is gravy
What up doe 🤘
🤟🏾🤟🏾🤟🏾
Honestly it’s up to Bryce…..So let’s wait and see…
B+
I think XL said its pronounced "Lee-get"
I think we have a top 5 defense and if we didn’t have Bryce as our QB, our offense would be 15-17 best in the league. Seeing as how we have the worst QB in history, our team ain’t going nowhere. I would take anybody QB other than Bryce.
Our defense aint top 5 by any of the advanced metrics
Still nervous bout that o line with a shaky Austin Corbett at center now. Also don’t know how icky will change. Deep center draft kinda sad we didn’t get one. Our cornerbacks still mid, wide recievers will be mid unless legette locks in. Like the te and see how brooks plays out
What up doe
Next Year I want Travis Hunter at Corner
Edge and CB is loaded next year
If we’re taking Travis Hunter next year then the season was a complete failure
@@SWWonders My expectations are not high at all. I expect 5 wins this season 7 if we are lucky 10 if we over achieve and delusional to say we will win the super bowl
B
Fair
C- is too low
39 should have been a corner 😢
if we are going to a run heavy offfnes,e we need a stable of backs, i love CHUBBa but hesa a bit of an overachiver whos co0ntract is almost up and Miles Sanders is a friggin joke :D
Bruh. Love your content, but refused to follow you for a hot minute. I asked you so many times where you get your throwbacks at and you never responded. For that reason I haven't followed you albeit still ghost following your content. Checked homage and they don't carry the retro caps you have. Fill me in bruv. I'm officially a follower.
So u haven’t followed because u didn’t get a response on throwbacks lmao u sound soft my guy
I did respond to you bro despite you getting upset claiming that i didn’t. I get my stuff from eBay and local vintage stores. Most are 1 of 1 so you have to hunt for it.
B- I am not forgiving giving away Kool aid
Pretty underwhelming outside of Legette tbh
Really like Jalen Coker WR out of Holy Cross as a UDFA as well
Payton Wilson is gonna make a lot of teams look stupid imo
C-
Brooks was up for the Heisman before getting injured, if hes healthy hes a stud
I don’t wanna hear none of that when we’re smashing teams in the run game. This line at least on paper shows we should be gashing people and the play action should be nasty. Another reason our offense struggled last year is because we could run play action because the run game was ass. If we can free up enough cap we will bring in Gilmore. We didn’t need a center. That’s why we didn’t draft one lol
This running back might fuck around and sit out 1 year considering he's coming off acl injury smh
@@brooklyn_boy3323 nope, he will be ready by July. He said in his interview he’s already started making cuts. That’s the most difficult part.
@@markbensley138 panthers also said they don't want to rush him. I wouldn't risk playing him this year. Still should've grabbed db at 2,than brook at 3 if not available grab your 2 best running back. I will never understand this pick; even though I believe brook is the best back. Still would've went immediate need with our #2 pick. We probably have the worst db room in the league.
Anyone else notice they scouted Texas pretty hard? Makes you wonder if theyre "future prospecting" either Ewers or Manning? 🤔
lol next years QB class is a stinker
@@UBSportsTalk idk when Quinton or Arch is coming out? Is that year after next?
No they didn't
