I tore my acl 3 times in high school, and for me, the mental recovery is so much more difficult to overcome. After the reconstruction, every time you cut or pivot, you are wondering if your knee will buckle, no matter how much pt you’ve gone through. I like the fact that chuba and miles will be there to keep the seat warm for him until he’s ready.
@@UBSportsTalk Maybe like Arian Foster-probably doesn't have the same raw cutting ability as Foster bc his was rare, but Foster was a bigger slashing back who could hit home runs without great long speed.
@@UBSportsTalkwell the good thing about him not getting as much playing time in college is he isn’t all beat up. He’s still got some tread on the tires.
Very recently some new techniques for repairing ACL tears have come to fruition. Brooks is already running, I hope he got the latest and greatest Bridge-Enhanced ACL Restoration implant; I'm sure Jerry Jones made sure he got the best of the best! 🤣
From what I've seen he seems to want to get north as quickly as possible. The clip around 12:40 really highlights that, he could have bounced it out wider but he planted his foot and got vertical. That's a beautiful trait to see, especially in a rookie. Also seems as if he's as agile as he is fast. Might explain why he doesn't seem to have another gear or that he's at max speed from go, he runs very smoothly Was waiting to see if the last clip had made it into the video and it did. Watching his highlights after he'd been drafted, I kept rewatching that run specifically. For him to have the ability to dead leg two defenders in as smooth a motion as he did, SPLIT between said defenders, all while maintaining his balance and speed. That's what separates the CMCs, Kamara's, Henry's from the Foremans and Chubas. That's what separates great from good
The way he talked of him, sounds like a poor man’s Terrell Davis. Not the biggest or fastest but big and fast enough, good vision and cutting ability but could still break the long ones if needed and can also nickel and dime you to death as well. Kind of an 90’s old school control the clock kind of back.
Aaron, man, your analysis is always great. I love to see it. Last year you took a huge jump, I think within five years you're going to be not only the primary Panthers dude on RUclips, I think you'll be known league wide. Can't wait to see it. Keep pounding man, I really think you're about to reap rewards
Im 😂 Sooo Friggin' Excited 😊!!! We got a 3 Headed (Physical) Monster (Legette, Brooks & Sanders)... theyre either barely talking about it or they're down playing it. Dan Morgan pulled a triple Marty Hurney...😂😂 #KEEEEEP #POUNDING
dont forget jatavion sanders too we got some weapons just wish we improved the defense more , the guys we got are good but i feel coulda been better on that side of the ball
@@aolepilikeadefnese doesnt matter for you guys what matters is giving bryce young some help so he isnt constantly getting killed out there and so he can learn.
Only problem I have is versatility means the passing game. I like chuba’s film better in college. Better stats too. I don’t want to run a zone blocking with screens. I want to run down hill and throw over the top….. it’s my preference.
Love him, so excited, I say he runs like a slot car, you know how you control the speed with the control? And then instant smooth acceleration, using that to set up blocks
I'm glad we have weapons but my only concern is how well our new and improved O line is doing? Yes, I know we made moves during free agency but how good they are? Will they will create similar holes like what we see during Brooks film?
4:40 nah Aaron you must have some coaching experience saying that lmao I’ve only ever heard coaches say that phrase before 😂 Tell me you coached some middle school or something before lmao
It is. Sometimes guys have other ligaments or a meniscus that gets injured as well. Sometimes it doesn’t completely tear and doctors have to tear it themselves during surgery just to fix it back (happened to me)
@@UBSportsTalk yeah I’m not saying anything negative about him. I was actually hoping we got him. I was happy as hell when I found out. I’m saying the home run speed isn’t that big of a deal. He will get caught on some long runs but he’s still getting the long runs and JStew and CMC were both like that. Having a good bit of long runs that get stopped somewhere down the field are better than having all the speed in the world with no vision or elusiveness

You nailed it. I tore mine as well. Not contact. It’s all about building that trust back up on yourself
Im glad someone else said he looks like Jamal Charles bc thats who hes been reminding me of.
He doesn’t have the same long speed of course but that same slashing style of running is so similar
@@UBSportsTalk Maybe like Arian Foster-probably doesn't have the same raw cutting ability as Foster bc his was rare, but Foster was a bigger slashing back who could hit home runs without great long speed.
Exactly arian foster type faster than he looks
3530 yards and 62 TD's as a senior in HS. Was so excited to have him on the 40 acres even if it was a limited time. So excited for his NFL career.
Crazy that he barely got the see the field bc the caliber of backs that come through. They have another 1 or 2 next up
In one season!?
@@UBSportsTalkwell the good thing about him not getting as much playing time in college is he isn’t all beat up. He’s still got some tread on the tires.
Glad we got this kid. Lots of potential here.
Yezzir!

Then cowboys doctors prob took real good care of him thinking he might be wearing a star lol

Great breakdown Dunc! Was looking forward to this one since you were a former RB yourself. Keep it up bro! Preciate all the good content.
Appreciate you watching and valuing my point of view!

Just found your channel recently, love the effort and research you put in. Love feeling better informed after watching 😊
Glad I discovered this channel. Very well done!
Thanks for watching!
I agree wholeheartedly with your assessment of the channel. You just do not get this kind of variety of content on the panthers, anywhere else.
Love this pick. Definitely makes me think of “Panthers football”

I’m super excited about Brooks great content…Keep Pounding 🔥
Same here!
Righteous 🤞🏾 Breakdown.. as a former RB I like what I see
You seeing the vision!
Didn’t see what you saw with his vision. I think his vision is his superpower. Not the fastest but he’s fast & he knows where to run & breaks tackles
That’s that Sierra one two step 😂😂😂 good stuff bro 😎

Been watching you for a while man, keep up the good videos and analysis! 😊

I did all the things except X because I dont have an account there. Love the channel!
Great breakdown thank you
Glad it was helpful!
What up Doe? Loved this break down.
PReciate you watching BigChief!
At 6:48 the Jayhawk defender had a clear shot. After Brooks went by him he picks up around 20 yards!
like your channel keep up the Good work 🎉🎉 Let's Go panthers let's get it
We've never taken the first RB in the draft until this year. I'm pretty excited about it.
Bull city, what up Duo
No lie most people wanted a WR first I wanted A RB first but it all worked out. We all happy now. Draft wise....
What up Doe, missed the original take 😊
I think you're wrong about Chuba. He's our guy.
I saw one guy compare his game to lev Bell now I can’t unsee it.
Interesting comp 🤔
Better vision and quicker to the punch then lev bell,
thanks for all the hard work and the give away!
What up doe 🤘
Brooks grew on you since draft
DUNC! Where's that hat from my man
4:40 nah Aaron you must have some coaching experience saying that lmao I’ve only ever heard coaches say that phrase before 😂 Tell me you coached some middle school or something before lmao
lol my high school used to always tell us that when dudes couldn’t find the end zone
Love the videos
I feel like he will be the main back by week 8 or so.
Playboi, dat hat tuff🔥🔥🔥
Is a clean ACL tear a good thing injury wise??
Yes, it's easier to repair and heals quicker.
It is. Sometimes guys have other ligaments or a meniscus that gets injured as well. Sometimes it doesn’t completely tear and doctors have to tear it themselves during surgery just to fix it back (happened to me)
He doesn’t have that 2nd gear when he gets out there running but that’s ok. CMC doesn’t either and it’s been ok
Burst and acceleration are more important to break chunk runs and being able to make someone miss allows for more chunks.

Best running back in the draft
🔥🔥🔥
What up doe
Reminds me of Minnesota Vikings ROBERT SMITH. long strides.
Great Comp
Watup doeeeeee dunc life 24/7
My guy! What up doe?
all our picks look great against division 2 teams
lol no one said that when Bijan Robinson was coming out
Trey Benson stuck out as the best RB in the draft. It wasn't even close.
He has no wiggle
What up DOE .. What you think Brooks would’ve ran in the 40 yard dash ?
Hard to tell tbh but he’s clocked at over 21.3mph before the injury of coirse
What up doe?
🤟🏾🤟🏾
Love chubba but he gotta move over
😅😅😅
I’m not understanding are you saying his vision is good or not good? Because all the hype has been about how good his vision is.
It’s good but can be better. I expect it to improve the more experienced he becomes
Has he ran a 40 at all? College included he looks sneaky fast
He didn’t run one bc of injury but clocked over 20mph on some runs
Oh AD can block too huh ? Hmmm
When he wants to 😅
🔥🔥🫡
