    Genial, gracias por tus recomendaciones en el video. Me interesa saber un poco más sobre el respirador y el equipo de máscara que usas, yo tallo en piedra y cuando lo hago con granito uso mascarillas y respiradores de partículas finas. El tuyo al parecer oxigena al mismo tiempo, me encanta! Podrías compartir un enlace de donde conseguirlo?

      Hola. Gracias por ver el vídeo y por tu comentario. La máscara que uso es de una marca sueca que creo que no se vende en otros países (vivo en Suecia). Te recomiendo que le eches un vistazo al modelo de 3M que se llama Versaflo. Conozco a varios que la utilizan, pero qué modelo de Versaflo eso ya no te puedo ayudar. No tengo ni idea 🤷🏼‍♂️😂

    Sir, what is your software for designing a toy? gracias

    • @artfabula
      @artfabula  2 месяца назад

      Difficult to say. Designing and producing a toy is very complex. If you could specify a little bit more in which process are you most interested I could answer your question better.

    GRACIAS, MI PREGUNTA ES SABER COMO MONTASTE EL EQUIPO DE EXTRACCION DEL GAS QUE PRODUCE EL SILICON. MIL GRACIAS.

      Te refieres al de la impresora 3D? Tengo dos filtros pequeños de la marca elegoo (Elegoo Mini air purifier) que coloco dentro de la máquina cuando estoy imprimiendo. Funcionan perfectamente.

      gracias me refiero al extractor que debe de salir fuera del medio ambiente a través de la pared no a los filtros, a menos que eso sea suficiente para no respirar el olor del silicon. saludos.@@artfabula

    You talk about resin printers, but what about standard pla/abs printers? There are no cons as far as fumes and brittleness.

    • @artfabula
      @artfabula  3 месяца назад

      It could work, but you will never get the same results with a pla/abs printer as with a resin one. At least not for toys.

      @artfabula Do you mean with the detail? Because I get pretty good detail with mine. I use a smaller nozzle and, while not quite as good as a resin printer might produce, it still produces good detail with thinner layers.

    Aluminum foil and sculpey is way cheaper than a 3D printer.

    • @artfabula
      @artfabula  10 месяцев назад

      Maybe. But then you will need to create molds for it. And then copies of the toy to send to the factory. So in the end is just what the artist prefers.

      @@artfabula Making a mold is really cheap and helps one understand the toy making and designing process. Making toys isn't as expensive as you keep saying it is. Many people that start in DIY move into larger collaborations just because they focus on the fun in the craft and the hands on. You should check out Crafsman videos or maybe some Japanese sculptures. There's even a BJD sculptor TONGL whose mold technique involves a thin layer of silicon and a plaster shell.

      Cheaper, yes, but expensive on TIME

    On designer toys that make 300 copies and sell for 500 a pop, whats the ballpark profit?

    • @artfabula
      @artfabula  Год назад +1

      It depends, but I can say right now that in those cases the profit is either high, or the design is so complicated and cost a lot of money to produce. I choose the first option ;)

      @@artfabula thanks. Im working out 3 toy lines in my head right now. I think I may just stay fully indie and make everything by hand to prevent having to deal with a 3rd party. I appreciate your content and the fact that you reach out to people.

      Began learning this market with 3D and then make the jump when you are ready. It’s a costly business this one!
