I’ve had a conditional love embedded into my every being. If I do this they’ll love me. If I don’t do this they won’t love me. If I don’t say this they’ll love me. If I say this they’ll love Me. & now at 26 years old I’m just barely learning this. I’m just barely learning my expectation for those I loved to bring me security, safety, and trust.. is too much. I need a level of love & security that only god can give me. My whole world has been turned up side down. This message is just what I needed right when I needed it

Thank You for the preached word. This word resonates with me so deeply! I am guilty...guilty of thinking someone will think as I do, guilty of putting expectations on people and not informing them of these expectations. Guilty of placing boundaries and not informing what my boundaries are. I am ready to get rid of unrealistic expectations and move into a better me. Enlightening and so thankful for this message.

I first though my expectations were God's will. When my expectations were not met, I was shocked. I surrendered after I had a fit.
Well, I must say Holy Ghost is reading my mail out loud. I asked Him to help me and He heard me. This message is so personal. I am just overwhelmed. I have had to listen to this sermon more than 3 times and I keep playing this video.

Love you, Devon, but I have to say that. When people come to us, with their expectations, that means they believe that we can help them. Why they believe that? Because the way how we speak, live etc. I am not saying to help all of them how they ask for but I want to say that there are different needs and is nothing wrong for us to take time to talk with them and find out what are their need instead to put everything on God's shoulders. I mean, what is the reason that why God bless us with different gifts, including money?! There is a level of hypocrisy, in general, but also in the Industry, where people talk but they do nothing for the ones in needs. Its like you said about the prayers are not enough. I am telling you, talking is not enough. To be honest, I am blessed by your sermon but also iritated. Why? I will explain using my own example: I lived in a car, not functionabil one, on the Hollywood Hills, going on set (as background actor), chasing my dream, for one year and half (18 months). Finaly I became SAG eligible. Nobody from churches or not, helped me or at least discuss with me my situation. That's why I said hypocrisy. By contrary, in december, when so called christians celebrete Jesus, the "christian" authorities picked up the car, which I used as a place to sleep, because it was parked for so long on Hollywood Hills. It was a heavy raining day. Perhaps the man in front of that gate, called the beauty one, he had expectations for so many years but people hypocrisy killed his dreams and finaly he has become a beggar. Why? Because nobody took the time to understand his problems, his needs. I don't think that was God will for him to stay in that position for so long. He stood in that position for so long because of people hypocrisy. That's a fact. Perhaps they said that is not their responsability, they are not the providers but the question is that when God blessed you, are you a provider or not? Are you providing for everyone or only for the ones what you like or love? If you dont, what do you think? Maybe we are living in fear? The fear which tell us that if we give, we dont have enough for us and for ours? I have a good example here. One day I posted a comment on DJ, Dwayne Johnson Instagram page. He delete my comment for what I said. Do you want to know what I said? I said that I think is fair for the actors (producers etc) to share a percent of their money with the ones whom watch their films and pay the tickets. Share the money with them and not only with the ones what you like, in general blood ties, because these ones, the blood ones, are not the main ones who made you rich. I knew it, in my spirit, he was so pissed of with my comment. Like I said, I love you guys, but I have to tell you the truth. Its not about compromise you or someone else, is about to wake you up, and so many others, to understand that it is your responsability to help when God bless you and gave you that position and do not be afraid that you will lose your resources if you give. God is limitless. One day I hope to be a great actor, writer and film maker, and start this kind of revolution, in the Industry, and help for real the ones whom made US rich and famous.
