Guys please do not laugh at/ hate Hannah for a tiny slip in the last 10 seconds of the show. Theatre is hard, and musical theatre takes a lot of concentration, and after a full show a small slip isn’t that big of a deal. Also, it’s her first time playing Howard.
RIGHT?! To know all that blocking, choreography and music for one track is hard enough, put another two in the mix (now she's alternating for Boleyn too) and it's a whole other ball game.
Knowing whether to step left or right right at the very end of the Megasix is literally the hardest bit about covering both Parr and Howard. Gotta keep hyper-concentrating right up until the final three beats of the gig, it's tough stuff!
To be fair to her, she covers both Howard and Parr so I know if I was doing the same id struggle to remember which way to slide as well!! Seeing that she’s taking a social media break because of some of the backlash she’s faced for a tiny mistake like this is so disheartening, I hope she’s feeling alright. But also her performance here is amazing and I don’t think it’s fair for people to only look at the small mistake in it.
yeah that means she knows both roles. previous alternates have had to know all six queens for their second and third covers but i believe for the new way of running the show they only cover their 2 first covers. for hannah thats Howard and Parr. :)

You should’ve seen me in Beauty and the Beast in April! Blocking Grace (Chip) with the giant plate on my back, bumping into Hayley (fork) with the plate, blocking Destiny (Belle) from coming through at the end of the opening number, etc… I constantly got on the dance captain’s nerves because of my mistakes.
I suppose when you're covering both the final 2 Queens and you've debuted both within a few days, it must be difficult. I've seen so many Howards make mistakes, usually with the little extra bits they sing but it's live theatre and these things happen. She will have absolutely known she was in the wrong place that's why she tried to fix it and I'm sure she'll be gutted but all in all after an amazing show and incredible debuted, stepping in the wrong place is but important at all
Bless her, I hope she doesn’t beat herself up for that tiny slip up. She recovered it well but you could see in her face it had upset her. Hopefully it doesn’t tarnish the debut memories 💖
Honestly I have no idea - I didn’t realise it wasn’t there however something did fall off during no way I think I just saw something fall to the floor in no way so it might have been that
I’ve been in shows where one missed step or wrong word creates chaos it’s how you recover from it that counts. Six is not a overly technical show but vocally it requires a lot more concentration than most because the score is complex and very fast paced. If you compare it to say Phantom which has a monster set I find that easier to cope with than I would six because the score doesn’t have as many intertwined voices at the same time for the whole show just at points. Six is completely live but phantom is not at certain points mainly due to technical issues and that covers for potential problems. I applaud Hannah for her recovery but I also slightly blame the other actor because anyone who has worked in a production like this knows that you have to be aware of your surroundings. I don’t think she did it on purpose but I also don’t think she was aware of what was happening behind her I don’t know how to explain it but I from experience find you develop a sense of your surroundings. But it is without doubt proof of why six despite being short in length is a powerhouse of a show and that is definitely down to its amazing female casts.
The women playing parr handled that so badly. Her face was terrible, she missed her line and just stood there waiting for Hannah to move. Hannahs first time on she could of been more supportive.
It took Janiq by surprise, how was she supposed to know Hannah was gonna go un the wrong position? She tried her best to correct the mistake but Hannah ended up correcting it herself so no harm done really. It’s not like Janiq pulled like some bitchy face, she was just a bit panicked. How can you criticise her for missing her line but not Hannah for going in the wrong spot? They both made mistakes but it’s live theatre so you gotta expect it.

Yeah! It will probably be harder since she also alternating Boleyn too, so she has to keep 1/3 tracks every show that's she's on.
