@@DarrenM It's been a pleasure Darren. I come from no background, have no style and just create adds based on what I learned in each of your videos! I am having so much fun and yet every once in a while I have a vision in my mind that I just don't have the ability to create! Learning how to be patient! Your videos are making a different to my business and I am grateful!
this was exactly what i needed thank you! i watched two other videos and no on had what i was looking for, it might help you get more viewers if you title the video something like "how to weave images in canva" or something with the world weave thats what came to my mind to search for! thought i shared in case it helped you or others searching ! im fairly new to canva, and layering was something differnent in my mind. thanks again for the help brother much love blessings
Thank you. I’ll do an update soon and include this. I drop weekly Canva tips on my news letter on my website if it’s helpful. Also always happy to answer any questions you might have.
Hi Darren, I have a question - how to overlay 2 png images in Canva? I have mandala animal picture and mandala background, both transparent. If I save the animal mandala image as pdf/jpg file, it does not help because it will have squre/rentangle shape. Is there any easy tip here? Thanks.
Do you mean like a double exposure effect? You could use the frame effect that I have a tutorial on, put the image behind the frame and combine with the remove background options.
So I have an issue when I upload my thumbnail to Canva. I am guessing you will be able to prescribe an easy fix. When I upload it does not take up entire space allotted for a thumbnail. After uploading from Canva, do I have to adjust sizing of the photo?
@@DarrenM I apologize . I didn’t explain properly. After I DOWNLOAD an image I create in Canva, save and upload as a YT thumbnail, the sizing is off. I haven’t figured out on YT Studio if/how to adjust the photo sizing .
I was directed here for instruction on putting my design on a T-shirt. Not sure how this would apply with the wrinkles in a T-shirts. I know if I was using photoshop I would skew the design but I don’t see how to do that based on this video.
its mind blowing this app doesn't have a layers tab for you to see and select different layers, similar to photoshop. cause canvas way of doing it is incredibly annoying
Hello 👋 I know this video is a year old now but if anyone sees this and knows if there’s a way to see all of your layers in one spot or like a panel of some sort? Or if it’s possible to hide one element & then bring it back into view when you need it or where you can select something that’s under other different layers without actually clicking on the image/element itself ?? 🤦♀️ Probably made zero sense but thought I’d give it a try! 🤷♀️ Lol anyways, thank u for this info I learned some things!👍
There isn't currently a panel where you can see layers. I just move my images around to see which one is over the other. I keep it simple and think if it as two layers and if it on top or behind the image I want it to show on. Hope this helps :-)

@@DarrenM ok! thank you for the information sir!
thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊 have fun creating.
nice video
Do you have to copy and paste each layer and then after you do that do you highlight the whole thing and then save it with the lucky with the lock
Maybe this updated tutorial will help Canva Layer Hacks - Quick Canva Tutorial

If you’ve uploaded an image to Canva, you’d just need to use the corners and adjust it to fit

@@johncharp3369 you can resize in the pro version to be 1920 x 1080. Or you can copy it over to a new template using copy and paste.

I agree. It’s one of the biggest things I hope they introduce this year.

Thank you. But nope. No hidden layer. I’m hoping they add this feature though. Layers is a pain in Canva.
How can you view the individual layers?
There isn't currently a panel where you can see layers. I just move my images around to see which one is over the other. I keep it simple and think if it as two layers and if it on top or behind the image I want it to show on. Hope this helps :-)
i cant understand anything
Just generally in life or on this video? I'll be doing an update shortly and would like to be able to help.
