I think this is the red vox song that resonates the most with me, lyrically. It's hard to avoid the trappings of stagnation and falling into a routine just because it works and is easy. Gratification is easy to achieve nowadays, so it's never been harder to tell when it is genuine or earned.
honestly theres a lot of red vox, specially on visions and afterthoughts, which i think are kind of “relatable” in a way, i haven’t looked up the lyrics on like genius, but at the end of they day you put your own meanings to songs through your own experiences in life… or something like that.

I think it has to do with making new friends and developing a really close relationship to these people for some time. After awhile the friendships start to fade away and you talk less and less to them, then not at all. Then it repeats. Just my thoughts.
I’m so worried about that happening to me now. I dated my best friend and things didn’t work out, it’s been about 2 months but I just feel off talking to them, and I don’t talk to them as much now. I’m bad about responding to their texts and it feels like I’m slowly but surely tearing away at our friendship like I did with our relationship. I still love them romantically and as a friend and I don’t want to let that slip away, but I’m afraid it might. I’d rather just leave and forget than go through that pain

Take it from me, I lost contact with that dear friend just from the lack communication that would slowly get worse from daily, weekly, monthly, then almost none at all over the course of a year. We've been friends since fall 2018 but she was just something different about her that made us such great friends... And I hold those days close to my heart. She was almost like my guide. I honestly don't know what happened to us, all of a sudden I just felt like I couldn't find a way to talk to her like we used to, hence the decline. Her contact disappeared one day back in March, I was distraught because I NEVER wanted that to happen but I made it get to that point. We hadn't taked since New Years Eve. My point is please, whatever you do, don't end up like me doing what I did to a once incredible friendship. Try your best to stay in contact and maybe sort your feelings out with them. I know that sounds hard but If you truly want to hold this relationship I suggest this. This just might be a stepping stone to restoring your relationship, maybe not romantically, but you'll still have them. I wish I had the nerve to do the same...

But I think it’s worth it, despite how painful it can be. I’m so sorry about what happened to you and your friend. But you never know, maybe someday you guys can rekindle that friendship. Life is long and things change, for the worse a lot of the time but it can for the better too. Maybe you can reconnect with her, you’ll never know if you don’t try

I don't follow too many bands too heavily, but this one is always on my radar, and any track release; single, EP, or full studio album, is a mark of a great day for me. That line, "I feel better alone with a stranger, than I ever did with a friend" pretty much sums up how I feel about music as a whole sometimes. Yours always comes in at the right time with such interesting lyrics and writing that have made me reflect on myself quite a few times. All in all, thanks for every song, from "What Could Go Wrong?" to "Flat On Your Face". Can't wait to hear more and more of the future. :)

Heard this one for the first time because it came as a bonus for purchasing the vinyls for What Could Go Wrong and Kerosene. This EP is amazing - would have been amazing if all 4 songs came as a bonus, but no complaints from me!

@@kamibaylee I just absolutely love most anything Vinny and his bandmates put out. I always got a lot of great music recommendations from his streams and was blown away to find out he had his own band. The two songs I always fall back on are Memories Lie and his tribute to David Bowie.
