Brilliant harvest.. It seems Diogo was a very good supervisor. It’s lovely to see the expat community coming together.. Laura and Dan and of course Jasper are also favourites and both being new to harvesting, they must have appreciated having your guidance.. Sending love ❤️❤️❤️
Haha😂 you become one with it after a while, doing the balance dance and swing along the branches😎 same but I thrive climbing the tree, keeps you flexible and helps a lot to get a good idea how to cut efficiently during harvest. Iwan also tends to chimp style 🤣
Thank you so much for another beautiful calming video …. and see the inspection crew at work …. and lovely to get even just a glimpse of Simao …🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛
Last time you had help to pick olives, but this time you both did it like a pro❤......well done guys you did grt a job👍, happy that you scored with so much beautiful out come❤❤....😅😂dogs n cats are having their best time in the farm...❤❤❤ Now you have officially upgraded yourselves as olive farmers💚👌👍
Well done! It certainly is hard work. I've just finished picking my olives 😊 I'm sure you'll agree with me that, in spite of the hard work, it's lovely to be outside in the sunshine with just the sound of the birds singing. And using your own olive oil, knowing exactly where it came from, is so satisfying! Here's to next year's harvest ❤
Enjoyed watching for the first time today,we live in Spain and have olive trees but this year no olives at all 😢 and usually have around 1500 kgs so keep up the good work guys xx
Your pride in your harvest was written all over your face! Pleased for you both! and NO never too much olivey stuff! 😃💜 Nice to see Jasper too, must catch up with what he's been doing 😊
As usual a soothing and lovely vidio my darlings ...love visiting with you..I always feel better when watching your vidio's..thank you for sharing.. Patti from Pennsylvania
Love the video so interesting to watch the whole process. Well done you did really well this year. Diogo and Frankie are so funny to watch, Frankie was like a stubborn teenager over not digging and I love her muddy nose lol Diogo is so sweet he always loves being right with you. Good to get to see all the cats Samao is usually camera shy. The way the wind picked up all of a sudden when you were picking the first patch of olives was incredible x
What a harvest from those two trees, it's incredible. Did I notice you having to get olives from out of your boots lol. Your garden is looking amazing as always and I can understand why you want to protect it. Lots of love and attention to get it looking so beautiful. 😂❤️
Wow, High Quality Yumm😋Congrats. All smiles on the yield. The shot of Dodo sittin by the tree in the Sun was priceless. I always think back to when you all found each other, his broken hip and ruddy health. You bring so much joy to each other, hes got a Mum & Dad😁 I didnt get to watch till this eve, so no coffee time but i had Tea & honey tonite. Very cold nites in Idaho, 10°-14°F this week. ❄️🥶Lol. Be blessed🙏🙏🙏Romans 10:9-10 , Blessings.
Well done 👏 awesome to see how your hard work and care has paid off. I'm sure every harvest from now is going to be better than the last. Frankie and Diogo are such a delight 😊
A lot of work but you persevered. Seeing the dogs race down the path is great. They are so full of energy. Congrats on your olive results. Diego showed the work made him sleepy!
Pruning while picking seems like the best option, you get both done and it makes it easier to get at them all. I love that you are aiming for extra virgin oil 👍❤️
Hi guys, good to see you again. It was nice to see you meet up with Dan and Laura, I always watch them when they post a vlog. Take care and stay safe. ATB to you all.😊
Hi Foggies wishing I could grow olives 😊 , I have brambles along my boundaries and decided to utilise them by cutting them back then train them sideways to form a fence, it has worked great and I have the luxury of blackberries 😂❤
❤❤❤❤❤ Are you okay, Ms. Carissa? You seem to have a cold or is it your mics? Get well soon. Always a delight to watch the both of you work on your homestead. Thank you for sharing another chapter/week of your life,❤.
Congrats on a great harvest! Your olives look great! I love the calm steadiness with which you approach work. We use the tree tickler 😂 We are harvesting for at least a couple of months and without the ticklers it would take forever. But doing it by hand is much more enjoyable. I am quite jealous of the lush green olive groves, we are having a really dry fall. I seem to recall a year when you had a dry and hot fall, when you were planting the Linden trees, and we had lots of rain. Now it’s the other way around. 💦🌿 Greetings from Greece 🇬🇷❤
Well, I loved this olive harvest the most. Congratulations on doing this harvest your way and having wonderful results. Next year, it’ll be the best wine harvest too 😉🤞❤️🍷xxx
I so love your videos. The cinematography is always outstanding... so peaceful and beautiful and I always adore all the animals part in the scenes (I still want a Diogo dog). Your videos always put me in a happy mood. Huge congrats on your harvest resulting in extra virgen grade olive oil... and Id buy your olive oil by the way.... I'm sure your olives absorb the beauty and love that is put into your land and thats got to make it even more special :)
Yay!!! SO IMPRESSIVE!!! Loved watching all the animals being so cute throughout all this video and soooo happy for you for your final result! You go guys:)
Scolding Frankie for not minding is the best. He was determined to not mind you…..😂. How can it get any better. The way you are harvesting your olives is 💯✔️you two. How many producing trees do you have? Whatever…all I see are two caring people who want to do the best for their land/trees. Just think what those smaller trees will produce in 20/25 yrs., from now.❤
Carissa said they have 99 olive trees. I loved the look on Frankie's face when she was told to stop digging "who, meee?!?", then her defiant little jumping/digging dance was too funny! ❤️🐶❤️
Congratulations on your Olive Harvest. Great news that you have low acidity, well done. Thank you for taking us with you to the Pressing Shop. I appreciate your choice to do this by hand, low impact better quality yeilds. Fantastic. Love from New Zealand ❤
Congratulations on your olive harvest and the final results, great work. Ewan pruning those two large trees 18 months ago absolutely yielded a huge quantity of olives this year.
Well done with the olive picking hard laborious job but you have liquid gold at the end 👍 Frankie & Diego are such fun to watch can you introduce the cats please You have probably done that before but I must have missed it . I love your little white one
They did quite a tough test a year or two back - name ALL the animals they have, which included the hens.... I think there were 25 names to get. (With hindsight, that may have been a test only on Patreon) White cat = Albi Black cat = João Tabby = Simao Diogo/Dodo and Frankie need no introduction though we could add that Diogo is a Podengo or Portuguese hunting dog, Frankie is a Sausage dog or Dachshund Hens names ... pretty sure that there's a Ronaldo, and if you pick a Liverpool FC player you will probably get others ...
It was really interesting to see the end results after having seen you doing all that pruning earlier - didn't those trees do well that had been cut back in the May 2023?? It was definitely worth experimenting to see what works best for you. The harvesting was a lot of hard work, but it really paid off in the long run, and I was so glad for you, to have achieved your end target, of being able to call your yield "EXTRA Virgil Olive Oil"! As others have said, it is also good to see expats joining together to help each other achieve the best results. In addition, it is always good to see the pets enjoying their best life!! Wendy from London, UK
When you do a rough cut you leave little new growth. Olives fruit on the growth of last year only. So a rough cut results in less kilofor at least a year, but the fruits growing bigger as well. Good for table olives😉
Glad to see all the four legged supervisors were making sure you were doing the right thing with the olives-lol. Thanks so much for the information regarding acidity in Olive oil. I would not have even thought which oil was better due to the acidity. Great video.😀
NICE video! I learned a lot about olives, your pickings are profuse! And to see some of the operation at the press plant. Beautiful😊🍂🍃
Lovely video guys, nice to see Dan and Laura❤, don't forget we have a mulcher available if you want one, thought of it when i saw you burning
Ooh ye maybe! We don’t have that much though tbh
What an awesome yield of great guality olive oil!❤
thank you for taking me and your viewers so close to your beautiful harvest. Very interesting!!
Brilliant harvest.. It seems Diogo was a very good supervisor.
It’s lovely to see the expat community coming together.. Laura and Dan and of course Jasper are also favourites and both being new to harvesting, they must have appreciated having your guidance..

Dodo is an excellent guard dog, always on duty scoping the property : )
I enjoy spending the day with my stepladder. I never knew my real ladder.
Haha😂 you become one with it after a while, doing the balance dance and swing along the branches😎 same but I thrive climbing the tree, keeps you flexible and helps a lot to get a good idea how to cut efficiently during harvest. Iwan also tends to chimp style 🤣

Congrats on your hard work.. Diogo is quite the Court Jester😂💜
I really really love your new thumbnail style!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Who needs a tickler when you have a Welshman in your tree 😂❤
This is the second harvest I've been following you. It's lovely to have the olive harvest as a seasonal marker of time.
It's nice to see Frankie, Diogo and the cats again.. We miss you guys ❤❤❤😘
Not at all fed up with olives! Love your videos and your playlists ❤
Congrats on the harvest and the quality !!

Missed you last week, I was a bit worried about the weather situation, so glad to see Diego, sorry sausage but he is my favorite
I imagine that it is so satisfying cooking with your own olive oil! Wonderful to see the process.
Beautiful harvest.
The wood is also wonderful for making bowls and spoons and cutting boards ❤

Dogs just love those olive nets 😂
Great job, and I appreciate learning more about olive oil in general.
Well, I loved this olive harvest the most. Congratulations on doing this harvest your way and having wonderful results. Next year, it’ll be the best wine harvest too 😉🤞❤️🍷xxx
Those results are impressive, well done.
Interesting that trees can receive happiness! I hope so ❤!
Frankie. ❤️ So stubborn but so funny. ❤️😂
Classic Dachshund! 😅
i loved the cats playing with the olives.
😮 Great crop of olives. Interesting how you got so much from a couple of trees. Looked like hard work though.
Congratz with your achiefment with the olive oil..great job
I love seeing Frankie digging after you said his name. Just like a spoiled child he’d look at you and scratch one time to see if your watching.
Really interesting video enjoyed learning about the olives
Hey
Great to see all your efforts come to fruition, keep up all your hard work.
Cheers from NZL

It’s really nice to have friends who help you and vice versa ❤! They seem very sweet!
Frankie being disobedient, loved it, wish he had produced a sock though.😊
Beautiful guitar music with shots of birds.. thank you 💜
Great video.
I was glad to see how you broke the olive oil production down scientifically and so delighted to see Laura and Dan!
Congratulations on your olive harvest and the final results, great work. Ewan pruning those two large trees 18 months ago absolutely yielded a huge quantity of olives this year.

The conclusion is good for about 10 days of work Bravo. it's brilliant harvest for 70 olives trees.
Good video! Well done
Well done on your liquid gold 🥇

Thanks so much for the information regarding acidity in Olive oil. I would not have even thought which oil was better due to the acidity. Great video.😀
Kudos for all the I've picking👍
