Amen! Yes, God does not cause us anxiety. And he absolutely is in the interruptions in life if we look for him. That's when we need him the most. Thank you for sharing! God bless you, Vinnie, and your family!

My mom’s birthday is around Mother’s Day and it seems I grieve at least one if not both of those days. She passed in 2021. We talked two or three times a day and I miss that. Thank you for sharing your testimony and thereby your life with us. ❤️🌻

Oh, MayMay- we mourn the fact that we miss them. The grand babies do make me reflect upon what I hope they are seeing. I talk to Mom and Dad all the time! It helps to think my personal angels are sharing those precious moments. Allow yourself grace, Sister. God understands and so do we. God bless. 😢

Totally understand your grief. Both of my parents went Home, within 5+ months, in 2008. I cried at the drop of a hat. Praying peace over you. Thanks for this devotional ❤

May May our grief counselor says the second year is harder than the first. Also, I was so impressed with this I forwarded it to all the pastors and counselors and people who minister in others lives as well as those I know that suffer from anxiety like you do. Focusing on the truth you KNOW instead of the feelings that mislead you. "What soever things are true, . . . think on these things!"

May may, everything you said today could have come out of my mouth, with the exception of the crying and I don’t cry as much as I used to. Also, I don’t hear the potatoes.
I lost my Mom 1987 and my Dad in 2002 and I was the Caregiver for both with the help of my Husband and my Dad lived with us from 1988 till he passed away (I am an only child) then I lost my husband in early 2011.

Thank you so much for the encouragement! I hav found that if and when I remember in those hard minutes (hours 😉) my go-to has become Psalm 121. I memorized it as a song, and I find that singing God's word sends the enemy packing. Any part of Scripture works, but I find whole chapters last me a bit longer. Literally just quoting or reading out loud makes all the difference.
The main reason I love this is because 3 weeks ago, I forgot how and what to do and almost ruined some relationships...this is such a great reminder as I come back from the chaos.

Just as you heard Him speak to you within a msg, "God can turn your panic to peace", I heard Him say within your msg, "Actively believe & rely on what God says in His Word". "Choose to believe", seems a lot like, "receive" (hope I'm not misunderstanding). Not sure about anyone else but, to receive all that He wants to give is not an easy task for me. Thank you for the reminder, "to rely on what I know to be true" 😇♥️

Maymay, my internet has been messed up, what I was going to say was, I spent the day with my “baby” my almost 14 year old rescue chihuahua. He is my “Heart” and sticks to me like glue (art glitter glue), I’ve had him almost 12 years and as you are with yours, he precious, gives hugs and kisses and my guard/security.
Anyway, as you say my day sounds like yours with the exception of the crying, I don’t cry as my, seems like I just hold it in and have anxiety and depression.my family was around but busy so told them to do their thing.
