This is the first time watching. I too have raised Alpacas and Llamas. Rose did just a I suspected. They don't like to have it captured on camera. I had 1 who surprised me with a gorgeous white male with few blk spots. By herself and I was at the grocery store. My friend has them and has for atleast 30 years. I have been at her place multiple times but never could be on time to witness the birth. I was there when 1 was in labor, just like your Rose and would walk away or turn her backside away from me. I left her alone for 3 minutes and she delivered a beautiful girl.
They do, it's a real family affair, they often have an aunty babysitting a group of youngsters too, to give mums a break. You don't often see them feeding another cria though, that's a little too much!
I do have a tendency to change my mind, I have settled on Yoda because of his bent ears, but I think Yarrow is still on the list. thank you for watching

When I saw him, I thought "Yarrow" just as you said it! Of course, this happened two weeks ago, I wish I'd seen this sooner.
