    Thank you for this video. I am currently taking a course to acquire a TEFL certificate but the discussions regarding models on teaching the English language were not that satisfying and illuminating. So I am thankful that I found your videos on RUclips, all of it would probably be a great help in supplementing what had been taught in the course I am taking. I am looking forward to more educational videos from you! God bless you.

    What do you mean by deductive application?

    I have a question. Are students in this method required to relate the reading text to their own experience?

    Please, I need brief explanation for :corpus linguistics
    And
    In communicative competence what did Hymes mean in Possibility, feasibility, appropriateness and attestedness

      Corpus is derived from Latin. It means “body / mass” .Thus, it is a collection of written texts, especially the entire works of a particular author or a body of writing on a particular subject: For example: "the Darwinian corpus“
      Corpus linguistics is the study of language “on the basis of text corpora.” The analysis does not stop at the description of those texts; rather the contexts are also focused upon.
      corpus=Corpora (plural)
      Please, stay tuned!

    You are just reading! You should explain this method! I was expecting that you would read and explain it well. Anyway, thank you!

    Sorry Sir but you should explain the method well, and you should speak slowly for the learners understand
