Custom Slicer export isn’t new. It’s been there for about a year. See video link below. https ://ruclips.net/video/9NkImG25syg/видео.html 1:15 minute mark
Oh I’ve never seen that before! I read an article somewhere saying it was new and then I noticed it in Fusion 360! Still a good feature to share regardless!
Not sure how this is really a new feature... All you had to do in before was right click on the body and select save as STL. After the file saves, you can open it up in any slicer program
Well yes obviously that is one way to do it and I mentioned that in the video. But it now opens natively, straight from Fusion 360. Which saves a little bit of time. I thought it was worth sharing.
@@thehardwareguy Sadly it is only one component. We still need to export STL one by one for printing multiples parts together... But it happened one time when I was doing too fast export that Prusa splicer ask me if it is a multiple parts or just one. It seems I can't reproduce (export into OBJ maybe?)
Thanks man! this really helped me in my first few steps into 3d printing. please keep helping others!
Worked for me. Thanks for sharing! Good time saver!
Thank you! You helped me learn how to export directly to Prusa Slicer.
Wonderful!
thank you for this amazing video
Great video, thank you! You helped me do my first export from fusion to prusa slicer!
Thx a ton, budd!!! You rock beyond belief!!!!
Your videos are excellent. I always learn something. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Marvin, I really appreciate that!

Okay, but how do I import STLS without opening a new instance of PrusaSlicer?
Everytime I try to slice a fusion file following this method it disappears when I slice it in prusaslicer. Any suggestions?
CHEERS!!!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That feature has been in Fusion 360 for a long time already
I had never seen the native capability until recently! Either way... still useful and worth sharing!
Fusion 360 is very expensive. What other free or cheap 3d design tool can you recommend?
It’s free for students and non commercial/hobbyist use! Contact them!
@@thehardwareguy Thanks!

Got it...
In Manufacture view you arrange everything then button export as 3mf...
PrusaSclicer will ask you if it's a multiplepart print...
