  • Nevr-Dull your knives! Ever pull out one of your knives and the bolsters or pins are tarnished? Well I have and it is a pain to clean unless you have a trick up your sleeve. Well I am here to give you that trick. I have used this on my knives since I was a teenager. It always worked like a charm. Let's see if that still holds true!

I first learned about Nevr-Dull back in the 70's wile in the Navy. Every morning we would polish all the "bright work" brass and trim on the ship. That salt water spray would dull everything pretty quick.

After 26 years in uniform I am very familiar with Never Dull. Glad to see they're still in business. Great stuff on brass! The tarnish is from the acid in the leathers tanning process. I have several sheath knives with brass guards and they tarnish where they touch they touch the leather. The oil in the Never Dull slows the tarnishing considerably.

I was also very happy to see Nevr Dull has survived all these years! It is so effective, inexpensive and easy to use. I think its a must have on a shelf in the garage.

Older friend of mine who is no longer with us showed me neverdull. I really like using never dull to clean up the insides of traditional pocket knives and get the gunk off. It great especially if there isnt anything really deep. Typically after scrubbing used knives from ebay with mineral or camellia oil, ill wipe out most of the oil and use the neverdull as a second stage cleaner befor moving on the polishing with paste like mothers, flitz, or case paste.

Sounds like the way to go for sure. I think that is an important step...to polish after using Nevr Dull on brass. It sure does the heavy lifting!
