They’re also pretty similar in terms of their stories too, given where in both the trauma of the two women force them to become much more imposing darker entities then when they started out
John Martin well... Sara was just a girl who got shunned in high school and obviously felt no empathy for those less fortunate then her. Luanne was a woman taken in by a man who turned out to be an abuser but eventually got given her revenge after death.
@@alaska4939 both the women were out for vengance after they'd been done wrong too, however being that Sara Berry was still in High School in modern time. The only difference is Sara's reasoning was more childish and under pressure/peer pressure compared to Luanne being more mature and having more of a serious reasoning. Both of them faced traumatic mentally unhealthy experiences and retaliated in revenge.
So underrated honestly. The amount of power in this version is ASTOUNDING! I love how the song is quieter in this version, it makes it even more intense. You can hear the harmonies very softly and that just gives it this unexplainable intensity. FANTASTIC work!

This is so well done! I've got chills all over with all this wonderful creepy harmonizing. Also the energy and pure joy in the lake-scene felt so liberating even though I already hknew the song. This is definetely my favourite version of the song so far!
Waay underrated, this musical, and it's varieties. I'd love for this video to be trending as much as something like 'Satisfied'' from Hamilton. It deserves it honestly.

How did Ryan Scott Oliver look at this photo and go from someone wearing a deer mask to a ghost seeking vengeance on her abusive partner?
Maybe they just wanted to write the song and had a picture they didn't know what to do with
I got the answer: ruclips.net/video/Y5LWU8FgTws/видео.html
1st Theory:
The deer mask belonged to *him.*
2nd Theory:
Luanne's spirit animal is a deer.
So he saw it was like “who would want to come to that everyday? It’s scary”
And then he thought “You know what is also scary and people want to avoid? Horribly abusive husbands.”

this version gives me goosebumps, I really prefer when women perform this song
The main singers voice fits the song so well. The first few lines came out and I got shivers. Kudos to her!
