I just discovered 35mm and I think it might be one of my most treasured musical finds. This song... I used to be an opera singer AND a country singer so this speaks to me on a musical level, and some other levels I won’t go into... I just wanted to thank you for creating this amazing piece.
I absolutely LOVE this song and I love hearing you sing it! This is a beautiful performance. Also, the pianist singing backup vocals, conducting, and playing the piano all at the same time is hella impressive.
Such a cool insight into this song hearing you sing it Ryan! The first time I heard this song it gave me chills all over, and it still does. The story is incredible
Honestly the difference in his voice and the official recording is so clear and the hurt and the disgust and disappointment. He sounds like a brother or father telling her story.
Really enjoying these videos of you and Lindsay. Wish I could have been there to see you both perform so wonderfully. I think it would be incredible to see Lindsay perform this piece too. Much love to you both x
Hail to the king!! And Lindsay? Awesome sauce! Now, I adore Ryan Scott Oliver, and he's a phenomenal writer and, obviously, singer, and don't kill me for this, but I like Jay Armstrong Johnson's version better. I guess that's why he was on the performance lol. But you still did better than I ever could.
i love your voice, and the way you sang it was PERFECT except it could have been a bit slower...it just felt rushed or like you had a gun to your head and you were singing life or death. Thats the only problem i have. i slowed it down one and thats about right. it might just be that the original was slower but idk. love it anyways though! perfect pitch and emotion was put into this 😁
Well he kinda also sings it too fast for the music in the background. You can hear them struggling to keep his tempo. Also he keeps on changing the pace like crazy
Ryan is awesome and Lindsey is adorable but
Can we we shout out piano guy in the back! Look at him conducting, playing and singing back there
The mood swings in this song yank my heartstrings every. single. time.
I high key want to see Lindsey sing the main part because I feel like she has the perfect energy for this song.
especially after watching and listening to katie thompson kill the song so well, i'd love to see lindsay sing it.
Lindsay in the background is a MOOD.
Everyone else: You sang good
Me: Those spoken dialogue parts tho-

At 4:02 there's an audible gasp at the realization that Luanne wasn't saved and there's something so relatable about it. 😭😭😭
RYAN!!!!!!!!!!! You should make this into a screenplay! It's way too good of a story to just leave as a song.
YES!!
you might want to let him leave that to the person who wrote the song?
@@luckyclover6323 he literally did write it lol
@@luckyclover6323RSO wrote the entire 35mm Musical!! This is literally his own, amazing work!

I love that you sing your own song and sing it so amazingly! More of this now, please!!!

Man idk how many times I've listened to this, but damn Ryan this shit slaps
Ryan, you have me CRYING. This song hit too close to home but you make it beautiful!

This gave me goosebumps, god damn.

That one dislike is from the bastard.

Is this avilable for purchase?
I left out a word :) I meant to ask if this arrangement. I actually already own the sheet music in the original key.
Yuka Layme it's on Spotify
he sings WAY too fast for the song
he literally wrote the song so
Well he kinda also sings it too fast for the music in the background. You can hear them struggling to keep his tempo. Also he keeps on changing the pace like crazy
@Gianna Carter I get that but he struggled to keep up with the music in the back
