      This video was very helpful, but why did you only add a pint of oil? I’m sure it takes more than a pint, Maybe four or five?

    Quick question. How do you set the time for when the next oil change needs to be done

    • @Kovahronix

      It's in the maintenance tab in the settings, you have to use the arrows on the steering wheel to get to it.

    I have a floor jack and two jack stands, no ramps. Where are the front jack points for the Altima? Can’t find this info anywhere.

    • @Revitauto
      @Revitauto  Год назад

      If you check your vehicles owners manual it actually should show you a diagram of where the jack points are on this car. Might be where it says roadside emergency spare tire installation.

    Never use power tools to remove or install the drain plug! It’s a good way to damage the oil pan and/or drain plug

      Good tip! I use that thing so much it is basically an extension of my hand. That little guy doesn't make enough torque to hurt anything. But I should not be doing it for youtube videos, it may give other people confidence that they can do it easily. Always great to start and finish by hand.

    I have an Nissan Altima 2020 S I took it off the lot with Zero miles Everytime I have my oil checked they say it's still good oil it has 30,00 miles barley comments or suggestions?

    • @Kovahronix
      @Kovahronix 8 месяцев назад

      Remember as the oil aged it doesn't lubricate as well and will hurt the life of the engine if you go too long between changes. I just stick to changing it every 10,000 miles, that's 2x longer than older cars so I'm happy with that.

      I did this job on the ground, and do not have a lift. I used ramps from Harborfreight and drove the vehicle on to it. I will be sure to make a video of that!

    It annoys me that they put the filter on the bottom, if it were up top - way less nonsense. Oh well…
