      Cheater bars if you don’t have a hydraulic impact which are crazy expensive. The seats almost never come out as easy as the videos show, it’s very common to have to put bars on them

      @@smalltownmachineshop6860 I have recently discovered that a few good whacks with my mini sledge hammer to shock the threads works especially on the Mueller's. Not so much on the Darlings with that spring.

      If you're a municipal worker, you should try to add a hydraulic impact and the "hydrant saver" from USA Blue book to your upcoming budget

    The weather cap has a small notch in it. What is that notch for? Our hydrant is in tough condition

    why are there always three nozzles?

      The large nozzle is for the pumper truck to connect to,the smaller nozzles are for hoses to connect in either direction
