I stayed in a holiday house in the Burren a few years back. It was beautiful but I'm not much of a hiker, so getting dragged up to the top wasn't quite my cup of tea. We did find an abandoned bathtub up there, so that was interesting.
We also visited Aran and got a lift to Dun Aonghasa. We were told that it would only be a couple of hours walk back to the ferry from there and it'd be worth it to see the seal colonies. We walked for a ridiculously long time - spotting not a single seal - and missed the last ferry back and had to spend around an extra £100 for an impromptu B&B. DON'T TRUST THE LOCALS WHO TELL YOU TO WALK BACK!
We spent our last day in NI and visited the Giant's Causeway which is great if you're into mythology like myself. The story of the giant behind it is really interesting and the natural formations really are amazing to see in person!

Skellig island are 2 island found in the atlantic Ocean
Giant causeway 40.000 interlocking basalt columns that were naturally former between 60-50 mil years ago,it had a wide range of myths developed around it which is about an irish giant bc of its inherently unique nature and it remains
    Cliff of Moher

I agree with many of these, esp the No.1 choice which, as an Irishman, is generally my top recommendation for anyone visiting. Would include the Casino at Marino, Dublin and The Chester Beatty Library also in Dublin as honourable mentions. Also surprised Cashel didn't make it in (maybe replace Blarney with Cashel).
Note, Trinity is the oldest current University in Ireland. There were many, many older ones, such as Clonmacnoise (the site of which could also be an 'honourable mention').
As others mentioned, Achill Island, should be included somewhere, along with Glendalough, and the whole county of Donegal.

Where is Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough? It is one of the top destinations in the country and has no pair in natural and architectural beauty. The Ring of Kerry deserves a place on the list, the whole thing, not just Skelling Islands and Kilarney Park, it is the one of the most scenic drive way I have ever been to. Ireland is wonderful and I am proud to have chosen to live here for the rest of my life! 😊

Two places you could have included were Achill Island....a beautifully rugged place and Slieve League in Donegal....reportidly the highest sea cliffs in Europe....sadly they don't get the coverage that Moher gets due to their location. Ive been to Slieve League and it is spectacular. Other locations worth a trip to are....Kilkenny Castle (Irelands ancient capital), Christchurch Cathedral, Dublin Zoo (first zoo in the world open to the public), Magheroarty Beach in Donegal. Rock Of Cashel has a significant link to the occult and is seen as a focal point in that field.....strange how Queen Lizzy went there in 2011...just saying

A few quibbles: The Book of Kells is not medieval, it is much earlier. It was created in what are called, in the UK, the Dark Ages. There was a University in Glendalough in the 800s, one of the first in the world. Aonghas was king of the ancient Irish Gods. Finally, why did you not mention that Newgrange predated Stonehenge by 1000 years?
