Lauren was so obsessed with making a great season happen, which is what contributed to the WORST season of VPR ever. She's just a human projector. Accusing people of inauthenticity, when meanwhile she's manufacturing storylines and being a producer puppet.
That’s why people are so mad at her. The hypocrisy is hard to take. And, she threw her ‘friends’ under the bus on the reunion. Then add the ‘rabid b..ches’ comment it’s not looking good. In fact she is very similar to Scumdevil.
100% agreed. Focussed too much on what she thought the audience wants instead of what her co-workers need. We all know "reality" TV is scripted to a certain degree, but we fall in love with characters for who they are not what they project. Lala is very likeable, but she lacks empathy and understanding when the issues are not centred on things she's experienced before. Scheana is a pickme and Katie is flawed but always authentic.

I like the reality of it, not the scripted shit. I don't understand why everyone was so mad about Lala trying to get her cast mates to talk the same shit they were taking off camera, on camera. Lala tried to keep it real. Everyone else was just worried about what the fans would think about them if they weren't yes men to Ariana and agreed with everything she said and did.
You don't need to hurt someone else, just to get a paycheck
I honestly haven't seen any mean comments about Lala's parenting or being a mother. Most decent people know kids are off limits when beefing, throwing shade or giving opinions.
Neither me. The only comments I've heard is that it may be hurtful for her children to hear the ways that she's talked about the new baby being "conceived in love," as if that isn't true of both children. Those are her own words that people are criticizing, so don't be mad at us.

It seems like Jessica will laugh at literally anything Lala says. “Omg that’s so funny” .. like come on Jess you know that shit wasn’t funny lol, a spelling error? This type of thing might be why on the show Lala seems to feel like everything she says is interesting, you guys aren’t doing her any favors.

I understand being frustrated with your friends and co-workers… however being kind costs nothing… I just wanted to comment that although I can understand your hurt and frustration you also need to realize others don’t owe you anything. Just like I realize you don’t owe me anything. But I do just want to say being kind is a good way to live and a good way to be. I’ve been mean and cruel in my past but therapy has shown me that I can be kind even when I’m mad at someone. I don’t have to let others bring out negative emotions from me because I’m in control of them.

That was honest. I commend you. I'm in recovery as well. Alot of Member's get into the program and believe sobriety and going to Meetings is enough and for some maybe it is. Many of us need additional individual therapy. Just because we got sober doesn't mean we're acting sober. In the first five year's we go through a tornado of emotions and sometimes Addicts rage at others. It's healthy to cry and get angry. It's not ok to take it out on other people.

I am so happy to hear you’re in recovery and are doing well! 💕 and you’re exactly right, we are all entitled to our emotions however we can’t impose those on others. I always think everyone can benefit from therapy, it’s so good to talk out your emotions with someone.
Lauren is exhausting i dont know who were making comments about her as mother i did not see them .The viewers /audience were mainly discussing her behaviour on the show what she was saying interviews on her own podcast calling us rabbid .we saw through what you doing you lost the plot and sucked the life out of the show . Doubtful. Scheana pretty much spilled the beans on that one already. The producers (who are very invested in Sandoval) told them mid-season that the show could be canceled if x, y, and z didn’t happen before the end of the season. So they tried to make x, y, and z happen - no matter what that meant for Ariana.
No, she said the comments were why she stopped talking about this season. The show was filmed well before and seems like these comments were as a result of her actions towards Ariana, not the cause.

Ariana left for ONE SCENE. there are so many walkouts on scenes it’s unbelievable how this is even an argument.
the show was nearing its downfall, duh. we all could see that! and unfortunately for Ariana her ANGUISH resurrected the show. and she still showed up for the season to film in her most vulnerable state of mind. let’s not forget it’s not just tom, she had castmates that shared a part in this betrayal, so she shows up to work not knowing who the hell to trust or who even actually gives a real shit about her.
Tom tries to run up for his big showtime moment, and she isn’t having it. WHO THE HELL SHOULD?! so are we all accepting that SHE SHOULD BE A SELLOUT??? and for the sake of Lala being providing for her child??? not her responsibility. not apart of her contract.

The most simple lesson you can learn is, look at how angry you were that Ariana walked out, and look at how positively the audience reacted to it afterwards.

Stassi, always the smartest person on VPR, made a very eloquent speech about boundaries low key letting Lala know she thought Lala was out of line. That was the comment. You guys are such Lala stans you cannot stand it. I agree with Lala about Trump but this season she was out of line period.

This is not a comment pertaining to the episode. I use to listen for the outlandish commentary but have since stopped and will no longer be. This is about the character I have watched on screen for years now and before anyone wants to argue that you don't know someone past what is shown on tv, while partially true, these issues have been reoccurring patterns for literal years. So I think especially after this final season, its fair to comment. I seldom ever leave hateful comments but honestly this so desperately needs to be said. Lauren, you are so unbelievably arrogant and yes narcissistic. To think that everything that comes out of your loud mouth, is fact, is delusional. You only surround yourself with passive yes men, because you yourself can't handle the truth. Your opinion only aligns with wherever you can posture as if you are better than whom you speak down to. Interesting that for how many seasons, you preached your right to privacy and boundaries, when that was what benefited you. Yet, now..... it is your right to "keep things real" because that stance allows you to point your finger with contempt and judgement. I feel terrible for your brother and assistant for having to sit back and nod along to the way that you are. But then again, that also is part of the problem. You are not tough. You are not special. I do get why Lala was perturbed by the way her breakup was received by her castmates, especially during the season 9 reunion. But she has to understand that her breakup and Scandoval had basically nothing in common but a cheating partner and a broken engagement. Lala was labeled a mistress, Rand was married with children when they initially got together, and Rand only made guest appearances for 1 season. It's quite different when Tom is an original VP cast member and the audience grew up and was invested in his and Ariana's relationship. If my memory serves me correct Brock was the one who really went low pertaining to her breakup. She needs to come at Brock and Scheana with the same energy she came at Katie and Ariana.
Brock was gloating at the season 9 reunion about the demise of a single mother's relationship! Also Lala is mad at Ariana for not speaking up when Charlie said she took an L.
Well Lala needs to rewatch season 10 and see all the times Brock and Scheana kissed Raquel's behind for more screentime. All the times Brock and Scheana let Raquel insult Lala and didn't speak up. Scheana and Brock are the biggest flip floppers who were riding hard for Raquel when she was still the fan favorite and before she blew her entire world up with Scandoval
When Lala lost her father, Ariana stepped up to protect her. She would say please vent to me and lean on me so you don't explode and potentially lose relationships and your job. Lala demanded boundaries with Randall. The cast wasn't happy about it but there was respect nonetheless. Everyone deserves a grace period and I think the abuse aimed at Ariana all season was completely unacceptable. I appreciate it is a job but you all could have had some different storylines, that could have bloomed. Ariana deserved so much better. I just do not understand the double-standard and hypocrisy. You can be stuck under the same roof as someone and still feel toxicity, stress and pain. Ariana was honest in having her defences up and how she couldn't tolerate Sandoval's presence. There should have been kindness and patience. Just because Ariana had to make moves in ways Lala didn't, when Lala fled her house straightaway, it doesn't mean Ariana's relationship and trauma isn't authentic.
Lala has always been a favourite of mine but there was no need for the bitterness, the 'God' and 'Beyoncé' comments. I couldn't fathom the insults. There needs to be a little reflection and accountability by Lala. I didn't like her behaviour towards Katie. Ariana was real, she had to mourn her relationship, that was her truth, she needed a friend, not an enemy. 🥹 'Sometimes it's ok to walk away.' LVP.

What happened at the meeting that the VPR cast had with the producers halfway through season11 ? Sounds to me that you where all threatened in some way. IMO the producers really dropped the ball with their insistence that Scumdoval and Ariana have a conversation. Is that all they had in the vault to ‘save’ the show? If so, they should be replaced with people that have more imagination. And why were they so anti Ariana? I’ve gotta tell ya, it was skin crawl stuff!!! Scumdoval had an whole season to improve things for himself, but actually made things a whole lot worse. He just can’t keep his nasty mouth shut , can he? I like this podcast but I agree that her brother and Jessica are both to much of yes people for her. It would be nice to get another person on here that wouldn't be scared to disagree or call things out. Now as for the comments about her being a mom I agree are gross and totally uncalled for. As for the comments about her seeming like she is not a good friend I think seems fair. I was quite disappointed in watching this season and her views and how she acted to her friends.
I love you, Lala, and think you're doing an amazing job. Your growth through these seasons has been amazing to watch, and I'm proud of you. I love that this year, you acknowledged things you are still trying to work on to better yourself to become an even better person and mom. That's not easy to admit or do. The self refection and growth has been beautiful to watch. None of us are perfect. I'm sorry that people are so hateful sometimes. Hearing you and Scheana breaking the 4th wall, including hearing Scheana admit on her podcast that the producers told you all mid-season that if x, y, and z didn’t happen, then the show could be canceled really puts things into perspective. It’s like Season 10 when we all went back and watched after Scandoval 1st broke and were able to see all the signs. Now we watch Season 11 back and see how inauthentic and self-producing you guys were, trying to keep paycheck. All the caping for Sandoval…. I honestly don't get why everybody is team Ariana. Ariana has sort of been in the background for seasons upon seasons and then gets cheated on and POOF she's the center of attention..... but doesn't really want to participate STILL. I would be frustrated with her too. The other cast simply wanted to perpetuate their jobs and create good television for the fans! And if Ariana really doesn't want to do reality TV then why is she on it? I have the exact opposite view of most viewers. I think Katie and Ariana are the fake ones and Scheana and Lala are real.
