Lived in Ketchikan in the early 90s. I flew in and out of there thru the Tongass Narrows many times in jets, helicopters and floatplanes. It looks so nice on that day but in the winter it can be another story, I remember landing in gale force 95 mph winds one of last flights into KTN. It felt like the wings were going to fall off. In nearby Sitka I remember 7 missed approaches in a blizzard had to divert all the way back to Seattle.

Have you heard plane crash on the bridge in Miami, Florida, striking a SUV? 1 dead and 5 people were injured including women, 2 years old, and 6 years old who was in the vehicle but no serious injury. It was a Cessna 172 single engine plane departed from Hollywood-Fort Lauderdale International Airport heading for Key West. It then lost power and crashed on the bridge bursting into flame and hitting a SUV.

I am from Australia and I visited Ketchikan in 2018 on a cruise ship. The views are just beautiful, even more so from the air.

He stopped climbing soon after take off. No thrust reduction after he reached 1000 feet. What a landscape. The last paradise on earth. For bears. 🐻

I don't know that it was that long. The 737 is notorious for slow takeoffs regardless, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
