Watching and listing to you makes me want to give up the HBPs and take on the Uilleann - Thanks for the videos - Happy Saint Patrick's Day. God Bless the Irish
Alexander Murkve I will have my solo album out within the next Month and a half, working away at it right now. If you subscribed I'll be able to keep you updated about it. Thanks for the comments!!
The tick over the o (ie ó) is the spelling in the Irish language. It’s called a “fada” (means long) and makes the vowel have a longer sound. So spórt is pronounced just like sport in English where’s sport without the fada in Irish would sound more like english spurt.

Each pipe perfect in its own way
Nothing sounds like the Uilleann pipes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They sound so ancient and sacred. Beautifully done!!

The title spórt means fun in Irish
Hey Chris, I am interested in learning the Uilleann Pipes from you on Skype. What would I need to buy before starting lessons?
You will need chanter bellows and a bag
I'm learning this on the whistle. The sheet music I'm using has a little tick on the o in sport. Whaat is this?

@@joefagan9335 Thank you, this is interesting. It is good to have tid bits like this, especially from other cultures. And it is a good tune too!

Your playing is effortless...You're on par with Davy Spillane...
