Right decision Lee. I loved my MR2 and restoring it taught me loads about car mechanics. But by Dec 2020, I had no realistic use for it as a car. Gave it to my Mum who is still running it and absolutely loves it. Your point about attention made me laugh, the TTE on hers clearly hasn't had any proper inner material in years so always gets looks and comments when she parks it up 😂
Sorry to see the MR2 go Lee, but it will always be Lee's car, no matter who has bought it. Excited for the new build, and to see what the high standard entails. I'm sure I could pick up a few tips. Keep up the great work!
Good decision Lee, Looking forward to more content, Going from the dub scene to the Boxer scene myself and in the progress of self building, you’ll love the Boxer, so much different in size and space, just being able to get dressed properly in the morning is a massive bonus, Keep it coming pal 👍
Looking forward to the van build, watched mainly the T5 videos and the odd other one of yours before. I think lots of people have the same experience with the T5s, great for weekends away, but not as good for longer trips.
How bizarre, I’ve had 3 MR2 roadsters over the last 12 years or so (and used to watch your MR2 content) but sold my last MR2 last summer. I’ve been researching buying and converting a camper for a couple of years, so will be following your build, look forward to the series.
A very honest update, I have to say I came on board when you started posting the t5 as I too have a swamper although I have since watched all of your videos. Shame to see the mr2 go but I will 100% enjoy the new content and it will be good to see the progress with it. Doing what you like and want to do will always come out better than forcing something. 👍🏻
Hi Lee, I think this is great news. I enjoy the variety of content you do, camping trips, tech reviews vw updates etc. I personally won't really miss the mr2 (great car) cos I'm probably too old lol. Although a few hardcore mr2 fans may go I personally think you'll probably gain lots of new followers. Lots of interest in stealth camping etc and tech is always on point. Looking forward to the new build and all the other shenanigans you get up to 👍
Really looking forward to the new build Lee. As a fellow Transporter owner, I will be sorry to see it go, if it does go?! But totally understand, I'm guessing you get more bang for your buck by not opting for a Crafter.. Irrelevant really, hope all goes to plan and as said look forward to joining you for the ride! :)
Channels evolve like people.do, and will come on the new journey as will have more emotions invested in doing a great job and pushing out content. Good luck with it all and can't wait for the build
I think this all great news. Always loved your channel. Very interesting stuff. Nice to see see things being made and built, added, modded etc. Looking forward to the new camper build and the days out trips and everything. 😎
Love the channel. Looking forward to the new direction. Your van is a proper lived in build. I'm fed up with show vans with empty cupboards built by people who don't actually use them
Hi Lee , I have always watched your videos ,my only intrest really with your vw van work, but it will be intresting to see you build the van, so its all good for me
I had the peugeot boxer it was a 2014 so not the face lift but only had 63000 on the clock I got with every intention of using it for the purpose of going further and longer time out in it but that never really materialised sadly. Can't wait to see what you do to the next Van I'm sure you've got ideas and it will definitely look good in the kind of off road style as the Vw camper which I love what you have done with that Lee I would even consider buying off you as when you are ready 😉. 9:089:08
Looking forward to the build Lee. You decided against the XLWB then. Just remember.. in a couple of years when you fancy another MR2, I've got a mint stock original that's not left the drive in at least 4 years ;)
Good news thinking of doing the same sort of build myself, have a 2004 T5 at the moment but like you looking to do something slightly bigger, will follow no problem, may even pinch some ideas, 👏👏👏👍🏻
Good to see you Lee! I never watched that many MR2 videos, originally found your channel because of the camper stuff. Great to hear that you are going to custom build a new camper, cannot wait for the Part 1 of the series! BTW, noticed your timepiece, seems to be Tudor Black Bay 58? Are you a fellow Bond fan? Cheers!
Not the reason for the watch but Yeah I do like a bit of bond. 👍. Part 1 will be a look at the van and a good going through all the specs and layout and some of the ideas I want to do.
Love it Lee, very best of luck with it. I am here for the van and outdoor content, the MR2 stuff was never for me so I appreciate the direction you are travelling on here. Cheers!
@@bigyin1690 it’ll all be worth it. I don’t regret selling the built engine parts to start the vw project in the past. I won’t regret it this time either.
To be honest only drove it home so far but was a nice drive and these vans have a good rep. Didn’t really feel much bigger than the transporter once I’d been in it a while.
I looked at crafters but the walls close in towards the top. I like the ducato/boxer/relay because the sides are straighter giving more room inside. The crafters have the vw tax too 😬
I used to enjoy watching all your transporter and MR2 updates but when it turned to more and more “reviews” I lost interest and unsubscribed. I’ll have another look as I’m interested in what you’re going to do with the boxer. 👍🏻

Good to have you back doing the new builds look forward to watching it all happen 👍

Looking forward to the van build Lee. I would love to build another camper-van but no room for another parked outside the house.
I’m in the limit now 😂 it’s a bit tight.
I think this is going to be great, looking forward to it 👍

Great News can’t wait to see what you’re going to do, to the new van. Love the channel.

I decided the lwb would fit everything I needed. Hopefully 😬. Don’t think I’ll be buying an mr2 again anytime soon. Definitely scratched that itch
Just keep it coming love it👍
Thanks 😍

@SpyderLEE yea ther nice to drive as I had one for work but never got to know how reliable ect they wher as changed to a crafter
I'm looking forward to the van build videos. Shame it was a vw crafter .I'm a vw nut though myself
