That last Dimitrov-Medvedev point was perfect! Like something out of a movie
I really hope Dimi picks up his form this year. End of 2021 he was playing great.
Seriously, the camera angle we want more of. It literally adds another dimension to the sport. Although, the high camera angle should still exist but more of this angle should be (and I believe will be) implemented in tv broadcasts :)
that's exactly the reason I am a loyal subscriber to your channel brother :)
@@JustSkillGG 😁 Awesome, I appreciate you!
It’s insane how powerful the shots are in court level and the net clearance soo much learn from the pros
To any tennis players here, pay attention to Zverev (6ft 5"/198cm), 2m behind baseline, returning Rafa forehands ABOVE HIS HEAD. I can't think of anything more exhausting than playing against that.
Well tbf, look at his hitting against Shapovalov, nowhere near as high. You can clearly see the first ball was not only a mishit, but he was trying to hit it extra high, almost like moonballs. Those are not his regular forehands lmfao, they're much slower and easier to return, and he did.
So how does Djokovic handle it? Davydenko would've had an even worse time because he was only 5'10", but he still managed a positive H2H against Rafa.
@@hello-mv6yg Djokovuc and Davydenko stand on the baseline and take the bal early unlike Zverev
Man, I was about to comment the same thing, it's crazy. And then Rafa sees him too far back and so he flattens and shorten his shot. Very hard to play!
@@hello-mv6yg What does one thing has to do with the other? Do you think that what Djokovic and Federer do, as well as Davydenko, is easy to do? You have to play on the line and not giving the ball time to rise, which requires you to be very good in timing, it is the most difficult way to play tennis, everyone says it and Nadal himself. It's very difficult to play like that and you make a lot of errors, that's why against Nadal on clay they didn't have much success and Nadal won most of the matches. On hard court or grass the ball bounce less, it's another story and that's why both Djokovic and Federer led in the matches against him on that surfaces.
8:32 from this angle you can really tell how Sonego's grunt comes way after he hits the ball...
yeah what the hell is even that.
Last point from Dimitrov is sooo nice in that angle, all of his shots are awesome and I love his backhand slice
I’ve seen all of these clips, but seeing them from court level is surreal. Also, those Grigor clips are fire
Thank you Tennis TV. We can appreciate the level these guys are at with this angle video-ed much more closely.
The intensity, athleticism, footwork, speed and agility is stratospheric.
Cheers!
MM
The Dimitrov volley at 2:11 is the best shot! His backhand down the line on the final point is also wonderful.
Being a Ballkid at a grandslam, you really understand the raw power these guys get especially domi thiem
Dimitrov es una delicia verlo jugar siempre, pura estética
Loved every minute of this footage. More please.
I love these court level views! It really shows how powerful their shots are and what it would look like in real life!
Rafa's shot travels more distance vertical than horizontal
Watching dimitrov with this camera angle hits different.
I wish we could get full matches in this view. This is the ultimate POV for a tennis fan!
Beautiful court views. Thanks for watching these fantastic guys playing so good.
That's some really amazing and unique content. It would be great to see more of these videos, or even live matches with some points showed with this camera angle. Makes you understand much more how the ball and players move.
All tennis should be seen from this angle.
Still don't understand why most shots are not shown court-level. Getting a real appreciation for player's skill set (net clearance, angles, speed etc.) is much more interesting than an "objective" view that makes the game look much more slow and flat (aka boring)
They don't show more shots court-level because court-level limits ad exposure/revenue.
7:27 Puts into perspective what facing Rafa is like. Master of Topspin 🔥
and this is Nadal well past his prime too
@@lotus630 15:0 so far this year, three tournaments, three titles. And you call that past his prime lol. Nadal is playing brilliant tennis, he has more variety than ever and great serving as well.
@@patrikmarflak6559
doesn't seem like you understand tennis (or basic logic) very much
winning =/= prime
@@lotus630 I know what is prime of someone's career, but Nadal is not really regressing, his form has been amazing so far this year. Obviously he is not at his best physically, no one can stop the aging and injuries don't help either. But the maturity, ability to adapt to different game scenarios and mental side of his game make it up and he might have one of the top years in his career, just like Djokovic last year.
I don't like the conventional concept of "prime", it really doesn't mean much in case of these players. I'd rather say there are different phases of "prime", obviously the 20's are more about physical side of the game, but these guys are still super strong and with the experience and mental toughness they are on a totally different level of "prime". Nadal can do almost anything he wants to do on the court, so it really doesn't make much sense to comment on a video saying he is "well past his prime" like he was not one of the best anymore. C'mon, he's been beating top players, who are supposed to be in their "prime" right now.
@@patrikmarflak6559
exactly
see? you do know what I was talking about
he's well past his physical prime already
we're talking about Nadal's topspin here
his physical prime's topspin would have been much more insane
I think there really should be an option to view this angle on tv
10:00 Grigor has one of the best technique in the game. Absolutely love it.
Thank you very much!
Would be great to have much more videos from this angel. For the younger players it’s a perfect angel to learn.
7:38 amazing footwork to run around to play a forehand. Rafa went from the left side line to the other side of the e court
truly appreciate what they are able to achieve from this angle . thanks!
a million thanks tennis tv!!
We want much more court view matches please
More of this please!!
These are all incredible points that I can only imagine doing in my wildest dreams. With that said, I used to think those balls were a lot faster in these court level footages but now I see them a little slower… either I’ve gotten better at following ball on court or the balls have slowed down… or both… 🤔
Topspin curves the ball a bit
And the pro moves so fast and hits so clean, IMO the ball is fast enough
I think it's the camera quality. Higher quality plus smoother high frame-rate makes things look fluid but slightly slower in my experience.
That’s the camera slowing down the play if u were on the court with them hitting that ball at u it would feel much faster
@@tennisplayer5490still not as fast the match camera makes it feel. It looks like most balls are flying flat over the net on tv. This is what gives most club players the false sense of having to ball bash to be like the pros, leading to a lot of UEs
I love this sport so much
The nadal forehand at 8:51 is crazy, going over Zverev's head who's already 6'6". That kind of spin doesn't really show up during normal broadcasts
2:37 really shows the speed that these guys play at. It's almost inhumane
We need more 🤤this is breath taking
Awesome video. Would have watched it even if it was 30 minutes longer
God mode court level points next please!!
Zverev and Djokovic game style is more appreciated with this view
Tennis how it should be shot and broadcasted on TV. 👍🏻
Never understood why TV channels today do not propose such an alternative angle closer to the ground, on a different channel.
Awesome!
The best angle to watch tennis
Awesome video
Never realised sinner made grunts too
6:40 wow
What's very interesting to me is that they play MUCH harder in training, except for a few players, who seem to play to the same level in matches (eg Alcarez, Musetti).
It means players who are prepared to really hit their shots hard in matches do have a chance to beat the big players, but its very risky (eg Kyrgios). They also need to have great technique, and highly developed weapons.
add rublev to that list
you can really see how much better they are than us.
ありがとうございます!
One thing is for sure, Norrie's backhand is still pianful to watch
8:52 Something Rafa and I have in common. We're pretty much the same lol.
Dimitrov very nice technic but Shapovalov is my best player👍
WHY THIS IS NOT THE DEFAULT VIEW IS BEYOND ME.. Make it the one and only view please
It is not beyond you; it just hampers the ATP's power to make money from ads. Do you want breathtaking, fast-paced tennis or more money? Easy choice...
@@FollowingNamePolicy Breathtaking, fast paced tennis which will bring MORE MONEY than imaginable..
Literally to the 1% whos reading this, God bless you, and may your dreams come true, stay safe and have a wonderful day. 💕
Good footage showing how unbelievable Medvedev can be. 4:22
Rafa’s angles : 1 / 0 Camera
full court level matches on tennis tv website??? 👀👀👀pleasseee
This Monfils one was great because you don't ever get two chances to make one point in a single go. 0:25
needs to be more of this angle. Top down does not give you the sense of flight and speed.
10:08 Ugly and elegant appear in 3 seconds
Grandslam winner and player who can't make a GS final appear in 3 seconds. Before someone asks me, "why are you mad" or whatever, I'm not. I'm just trying to prove that having ugly groundstrokes don't matter, as long as you can win with it.
@@hello-mv6yg In early day when people didn't recognize Medvedev enough, I always said those things too, because I think he is a brilliant player. But things have changed now, and I'm back to my business. Imo good-looking skill is everything, even though I lose tons of shit, then so let it be
Why isn't this a thing more often? Tennis needs shot tracer like golf accept color coded for speed
Beauty
😍
Why they groaning like that lol
Bot-like shots from Novak lull you to zzzz😴
