Very well set out that! Going to try and help my sons under 10's between now and next season. Cheers bud! 1.06 the ol' girl was looking to high tackle you 100%
Thank you for sharing this. Beautifully clear directions and explanation. My 10yr old son is playing U12 here in SW France and enjoyed this. I've bookmarked this to be able to come back to it regularly. Thanks again.
been playing rugby for about a year, and while i've had a considerable growth in terms of how i play and i think i tackle quite decently, i wouldn't consider myself a good tackler, but this video really helped me dissipate any doubts i had about that, thanks for this awesome video man!! bless also, those meatballs looked very tasty
This is easily the greatest video I ever saw. At the end of the video how you just nonchalant thew in a meatball recipe. 👊 hahaha it’s great plus hilarious.
Great video as usual, but the cooking segment could definitely be longer! I'd appreciate hearing you explain the ingredients, quantities and preparation and cooking process, even if you speed up the actual cooking.
Thanks again Luke! Am currently in pre-season for my school so this will be useful during training. The team we played against last week during preseason (48 - 17 loss btw :( ) got penalised way too many times for high tackles which gave us an advantage during many points of the game
I play rugby and I have the ability to make the tackle it’s just i can’t mentally say to myself u have got this tackle and I was wondering if u had any tips to try and help me out
Honestly the best advice. If you’ve nailed down your technique. Is to just commit 100% to every tackle. It will massively reduce your chances of getting injured and is much safer. It will also increase your confidence each time you tackle.
Biggest tip is learn the basics well. This all comes from 'reading' the game and making the correct decision for each individual situation. Tackling is a fantasic skill to have in your locker, however it means nothing if youre out of position or tackling the wrong man to allow an overlap.
how to get over the fear of hurting my head or body from their cleats? i'm smaller so I go very low and ankle bite, but i keep hesitating and missing tackles because im scared of the spikes on the cleats 😂
If you haven't tackled for a while or are new to tackling then it can be sore until you build up the robustness in your shoulders. Equally if its really painful then definitely worth speaking to your teams physio
i do american football but holy these are so useful and are so much more effective and safer than how my coach teaches tackles!!
Very well set out that! Going to try and help my sons under 10's between now and next season. Cheers bud! 1.06 the ol' girl was looking to high tackle you 100%
That's awesome to hear, I hope they're enjoying their rugby!
She definitely was! 😂

the old lade was the absolute highlight of this video.
useful as always except the animal corpses ... better eat plant based ;)
Thank you very much Ryan, I respect your decision to be plant-based, all I ask is to respect mine 😃
How can I make a spear tackle? Please help
By spear tackle do you mean lifting the legs up?
how to get over the fear of hurting my head or body from their cleats? i'm smaller so I go very low and ankle bite, but i keep hesitating and missing tackles because im scared of the spikes on the cleats 😂
How do u increase speed for a full match
I thought I was on the wrong video when I came back and he was cooking meatballs
It'll get ya
But why my shoulder hurt to much?
