Someone once told me “love isn’t enough”. Boy was that person right! My ex and I loved each other so much but we had a lot of issues. There was a point when we were fighting every single day. Like them, we had a mediator (well, a couple of mediators, different times). Our relationship was still not salvageable. I wish we had a chance to talk like this. Unfortunately, he passed away 3 years ago. I didn’t get the chance to tell him that I loved him. I eventually forgave him. I miss him so much, it hurts. Oh what I would do/give to be able to tell him I forgive in person and tell him how much I loved him?!

He’s literally not indifferent. He said he misses her everyday and he even admitted he was about to cry at the end. He’s not indifferent at all. He was very open about his emotions and how difficult their break up has been for him. He simply just decided that they were on two different paths and that they could not be together. That is not indifference. Indifference would have been him pretending like he didn’t care.
@@876me7 indifference is acceptance in this case. Not that he doesnt care. If he didnt care he would not be their and it would hide suppressed feelings. He is balanced is his emotions. He is not all over the place, all the while remaining sensible.
Wow, this right here was raw emotion. It just oozed from the screen. Most people on here are giving this man accolades, which he deserves. However, this young lady was equally vulnerable, brave and I love that she showed accountability for her mistakes which shows a lot of growth. I just want the best for both of them!!!

I meant my husband at 20yrs old. It was the 1st time I realized what love felt like and heart break 3 years later. I moved away didn't see him for 5 years and the day I saw him every emotion buried resurfaced. When we decided to give it another go I told him either he was all in or we were nothing at all. He said God told me you were the one. We have been together 13 years married 9 and 2 kids. But anyway looking at this I can tell you closure is very important because without it takes longer to heal emotionally.

How people do you has NOTHING to do with you. People are battling themselves daily. Within the first 5 minutes, I knew all that I needed to know. I see so much growth and maturity in this King. I feel like he held back a little. He probably had so much more on his heart, but she probably hasn’t changed. So, I feel like he didn’t say everything that he wanted to. It’s like talking to a brick wall. No shade to the Queen, but she still has to grow and learn. She thought that she could do him any kind of way and that he would never leave, now, 2 years later, she’s suffering. A man will not love many women in his lifetime. It’s crazy! I think we all have to realize that good chemistry doesn’t equate to a strong foundation.
Are they wearing their mics against their chests? The heartbeat that I heard throughout made me realize how short life is. When you make mistakes in relationships like this you can only HOPE you learn and grow from it. Too many of us take our mistakes with us into our other relationships and we never truly learn and grow. this story is similar to mine. BUT first before I share my story I want to say I admire so much that this BEAUTIFUL couple was able to sit and have a true conversation of reflection and love for each other despite their differences and past. Their mutual respect is amazing. I felt every emotion in this video that even brought tears to my eyes. I even heard their HEARTBEATS picked up from the microphone clipped on their shirts. God bless them and I hope they are both able to HEAL from the breakup because the pain is truly deep. Then I hope they Both are able to find love again in the future that doesn't bring them pain, and instead brings them happiness and marriage...
My ex left me in April this year. our 3 year relationship wasn't bad at all. we were so in love. with so many plans to spend our lives together. But Nov. 2020 we got in a big argument for the first time while I was out of the state for a couple weeks visiting family, and it just went down hill after that. It wasn't anything serious but it led to many issues that made him give up on us and fall out of love with me. It was so difficult for me because not only did i miss him but his dog I love with all my heart. I would cry so much missing him and his dog. I never got to see him (the dog) again. Also during the first year of us dating I bought my ex a heart shaped pillow that he slept with every night.. I still wonder if he has it or threw out .. i'll never know because he broke up with me a couple days before my birthday in April this year and on my birthday we texted dry messages back and forth and i told him how hurt I was and he never responded to this day. He completely disappeared from my life. I am 26 years old and he has been my first and only person iv'e dated. This first breakup almost cost me my life from the depression this year. But im staying strong and I do sometimes still grieve the breakup but im a lot better. I hope I meet someone in the future that doesnt give up or fall out of love again. Its too painful to experience. i wonder if he ever thinks of me or misses me.. so heartbreaking to think about..

My first thought was everyone needs to do this, but if you ever really loved someone it could be detrimental to your new growth. Imagine talking to someone you love 7 years later, it can take you back to the relationship and ruin any progress you have made. I am a person that wants to know “why”, I’m learning as I’m getting older I don’t need to know everything.

Completely agree and the other side of that is love isn’t necessary. I know plenty of successful couples who do not love each other but are healthy together and raised good children who turned out to be happy adults. I’m a product of a household like that. I’d rather have stability and healthy household than one filled with love and chaos. To be clear my parents did not love each other but they expressed plenty of love for me.

Wow! My ex reached out to me today after I broke it off with him 8 mos ago. He was so sincere and apologetic for breaking my heart and losing my trust. He spoke about how he rode by my house a few times to see if he could catch me outside and that he wanted to leave flowers and a note but his pride stood in the way. He told me he loved me and wanted nothing from me other than to be back in my good graces. This was eating him up all these months and he just had to get this off his chest. But like this couple we simply can’t be together again because I don’t condone my ex’s street lifestyle and hustle so it is very very true that LOVE is not enough and that two people can love each other to pieces but just can not find middle ground to grow and continue a relationship.
I relate to this so much. It’s so hard to stand in your truth, but she is doing it! I have so much respect for both of these two.

People need guidance ! Counseling, accountability , could have taken them such a long way. From this I see no reason why they aren’t together and why they aren’t giving it a second chance. They clearly are not OVER each other. I really wonder what happened . Life is too short man.

It seems like it took a lot for him to even speak to her after what happened between them. I'm proud of Annalisa for holding firm to her truth and acknowledging where she went wrong in the relationship and setting a boundary on what makes her happy.
