Hi ! I’m a French 33 yo lady and it’s 5am here, I can’t go back to sleep and I randomly found your channel tonight. I really appreciated your video, it feels like I travelled to the US and have been welcomed in a friendly American woman’s home. I love the accent, you seem really nice and I enjoyed the recipe too. I have no idea what is corn bread though 😂 Due to a bad mental health I haven’t worked in a while and have been really isolated, so this little moment in time with you was so nice. Thank you !
8:05 “Something has gone horribly wrong” haha! I was almost asleep until I heard that comment 😂 You remind me so much of my late Auntie ‘Ne ❤ She was the life of the party and passed away 3 years ago. You have very similar personalities and I just love your natural humor. That’s what I miss most about my aunt. Anyways! Thanks for the video Mary! Happy Mardi Gras! 🎉❤
The things you can say whilst keeping a straight face.. Amazing. You’re an amazing person, Mary, and it shows in everything you put out into the world. Thank you for you
Ah, another relaxing cooking video. Nice combination of things, mixing the batter, sizzling sounds from the ground beef, soft-spoken commentary during assembly. Thanks!
I love love love your cooking videos I don’t cook much and your recipes show me so much and it’s always so easy thank you for always making a video for us
I’m watching this as I lay out my outfits for the week. The funny part is that I’m usually watching your outfit videos while food prepping for the week! 😂💕
Hi Miss Mary happy Sunday! I am going to make this in the next week or two but I am going to add a little bit more seasoning and pepper as well. I’ve made something similar to this before and it is just so good. I also out like to add a couple of teaspoons of catch-up to the mixture I just thinks it gives it a little zing. Thank you so much for showing this recipe. This is such an easy thing to do and you could do it as a side dish or a main dish with a salad. I love that you show young people and actually anyone how to cook with simple recipes that will give you a lot of servings and on a budget.😊
I made a vegetarian gumbo for Lent coming up on Ash Wednesday because most of us Cajuns/Creoles fast from eating meat during Mardi Gras as most are Catholic but I can’t wait to try this recipe as soon as I can eat meat again but I’m definitely adding kielbasa red beans & rice basically a jambalaya casserole
My mother immigrated to the US and my dad didn’t cook so I didn’t have a pb&j sandwich until I was 22. My friends found out and couldn’t believe it. They immediately went to the store and made me a pb&j 😂 first gen American probs
These aluminum pans are a great invention !! here in Greece we make cornbread with feta cheese and it's pure delight for those who like it salted, but i''ve never heard of sweet cornbread.👌✨
Question not criticizing for learning purposes, when cooking the meat aren’t you supposed to season it while the meat is still red in the skillet ? Idk maybe I’ve been doing it wrong plz let me know 😊
From Nj and the first time i got some corn bread without sugar in it i was like did they miss something kind of the exact opposite but same situation you found yourself in Lol

It’s interesting you think green onions smell like spring time! In the UK we call them spring onions😂
They're called that in the USA, too, but the recipe referred to them as green onions, so that's what I called them.
Spoontula😄meat diaper😆seriously Mary, thanks for a great Monday!
These aluminum pans are a great invention !! here in Greece we make cornbread with feta cheese and it's pure delight for those who like it salted, but i''ve never heard of sweet cornbread.👌✨

When I got married 26 years ago I ONLY knew how to make casseroles, and my husband was NOT a fan! I still sneak them in occasionally 🤣
Had to watch to the end to see how you would react to the sweet cornbread. When I saw the Jiffy mix I was worried for you 😂
It's fine. I don't hate sweet cornbread. It just caught me off guard the first time I had it. It's OK.
Yay Walter is back
Yay, cooking video. Always welcome.
Love it!! Thank you! ❤
Love your cooking videos 😊💝💝
Oh Mary! What a casserole....
Your cooking looks delicious
You'd hate to have cake at my house. I did that today. I only eat the middle pieces 😂
