I live in Ohio up north where the frost line is 36 deep in the winter. Do I just do what you do only make it 6 ft deep?

Thank you for all your videos. I learned a lot. I need to install a curtain drain in my yard 4’ deep. I need to drain it to day light. I don’t know how to get the slope right

You might need a sump pump to lift the water up and send it to wherever you want. The pump is the best option! You can do it👍

Hello Chuck! For some reason I connected when watching your videos, I did a couple of vertical drains that worked and I'm just waiting for a good rainfall to see if the milk crate drywell is enough to solve another problem. I am a fellow musician that enjoys watching Bob Ross videos, so now it all makes sense. Do you have any other music out there?

How do you run the cable to power the sump pump? Is there no other way than using a sump if grade isn’t good? Can you just dig down and get fall?

That’s why the sump basin goes beside the house. Very easy to add electrical.
