Hello. As far as I know the woodsman are only in Padstow and how can I join them if the village is not free yet. i need research bow tier 2 and he needs woodsman. Is there any other way?
Only by liberating that town, I'm afraid
I set my starter settlement on the crossroads (t2 area south of the starter town) by the bridge leading to the t3 area that bradford is in. As long as i don't destroy the bandit camps i am under constant attack. My civilians don't like it, but my renown is always plentiful and its getting even better now that i am getting some proper gear on them. Besides, i am on top of mud, across the river there is copper and a tiny walk to the left on the map (i am probably gonna fill the entire space with buildings eventually) there is a tin deposit. The issue of course is that my workers constantly have to drop everything to dogpile the bandits, but its fine, i scale the worker amount faster this way and thus get more work done eventually.
Love your videos. Have one more request... how do you raise the stats and skills of your avatar. Do you do it by reading. I saw the thing about shooting dead wolves. How can you increase strength and one handed skills. Thanks if you decide to run with this. No one else has it out there that i have seen.
Books is the best way to improve stats for sure. I read a lot of books to get to 10 archery
I accidentally discovered a new tip - when you create an army, when you are on the world map, you can right-click and give orders to move your army, it makes navigating them a bit easier, but it's a pity that you can't click on a deposit to start collecting it.
Yes you can move your army, you can even get them to collect berries and mushrooms as well
There’s a spot outside the brigrand headquarters thats good too. There’s about 4-7 archers on that pull, but if you run them down the path to the north to the rocky area you’ll find a spot just like this where u can hide from the enemy archers behind a rock wall and they will continue to try and hit you through that rock wall (unsuccessfully) and you will still be able to attack the melee mobs all bunched up.

Easy way... download renown mod because currently it's extremely unbalanced anyway
I'm trying to avoid mods atm until there is a final release unless something amazing comes out. I don't mind having to half fight for it, with a little cheese

Raw hide bottle neck pls pls where to farm it
Finding Boar in game is hard tbh, they move around a lot
Build a hunter camp near where you see deer. Put a bow and quiver in it. Keep it stocked with simple arrows. Set it to grab deer first (you can select priority for each animal). Then build drying rack to turn hide into raw hide.
If you can't build drying rack yet, kill t2/t3 brigands for chance of raw hide drops.
What's your skill levels I get like 6 to 8 times the loot from them you do
I think I had a really luck that time, I normally get better drops than that
