Same. I haven't reached this part of the game in DE since I've been doing side content, but I got Gold in all of the driving school lessons within like 30 minutes. I remember getting Gold very easily in Flight School for the Xbox 360 version too
It's not even that hard, sure you'll fail at least once. But it's not gonna stop you from finishing the game. Unless you're going for 100% then it's straight up suicide.
Bro. @@pyr1412 man I was 12 when San Andreas came out and I played it at the same age. I had always wanted to fly even before then but then I played these missions and I told my uncle I wanted to fly and he was a private pilot in a single engine plane. For me in vice city it was the “demolition man” i had it done by my friend but when I personally did it for the first time it was the best feeling ever. In san Andreas this mission will give me that satisfaction
Turns out this mission is way more difficult than "Wrong Side of the Tracks" and "Supply Lines..." combined. Stitch the difficulty of those two missions together, and you'll get this. Unlike Zero's mission which you can skip and don't count towards story progression, this mission is mandatory to complete without which you cannot progress further. Good luck trying to control the planes which is equivalent to a complete fleet of Zero's slippery RCs in Supply Lines mission!
I think it's not only me. Played this mission first time on PS2 hard as hell. Doing again, again, again, again and again and now play this on PC, this mission is easier than we thought. Anybody else than me?
Idk if it’s just my games but in Vice City and San Andreas my planes refuse to fly. They’re literally stuck to the ground and I can’t progress in the game because of it. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? It’s very frustrating
At this point, i can do flying school with 10 minute and everything to be silver but, if i want it i'm pretty sure i can get gold in everything and get hunter with one day.(because i did).
They have made the coronas a whole lot bigger in the definitive version of San Andreas, hence why you would all remember how hard it was to complete in the original version of SA. This version looks so much easier, big up Rockstar for finally making it a little easier because this mission is torture.
I'm currently playing San Andreas on Android and was dreading Learning to Fly, but I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to pass. Idk if the touchscreen gave me more control over the plane, or if Rockstar updated the mechanics, but I finished the misson in like 30-45 minutes. Whereas on Playstation it took fucking forver!

I hate this mission! The circle the airfield and circle the airfield and land were the worst. I wasted so long trying to complete them. And what cracks me up is the mission you have to do the airplane flying missions for is so easy!
i remember these they were pretty fun to do but hard to get gold unless you looked up the times online then if you knew the time you had to get for gold it became easier but completing it in general is ultra easy.
I can't get passed of this mission in definitive edition because of the silly settings of my game when i fly an aircraft. i hope you will teach me the settings in flying
I was afraid that I would've never passed this mission but I did! It took me a lot of tries and days to pass a lesson. I'm so glad I didn't give up (: I've been playing it on my iPhone.
I asked myself why I failed learn to fly almost a million times? And I try to find the problem, the problem was I turn on flying with mouse so when I move the mouse the plane follow my mouse and the plane no balance and I die.
