Growing up in Chattanooga I went to the zoo a lot but haven't been since 1996. With that said I do like what I see. It used to be pretty much an asphalt walkway with plain cages around it. The only memorable parts were the apes, the bird cage, and the petting zoo which had just goats.
I was gonna say maybe it’s good the meerkats are inside cuz they always seem to be on alert for birds but one of them still seemed to be on patrol. They don’t seem very stress free

I learned to swim at the Chattanooga Zoo when I was 5 years old in 1987. Back then they were much smaller.

you should come to the Saint Louis Zoo ours is free admission and on par with some of the best out there
I have been there and enjoyed it. Really nice zoo for free, didn’t video there because it was a rainy day
