Thanks for the new episode. I have a 3.2 Ranger myself and find your videos very informative. I have recently installed the OME suspension and have to agree that they come into their own in the ruff stuff. I'm planning on upgrading the wheels and tires next so have a few questions. Do you currently have 285/75/r16 tires and did you install spacers? I'm also thinking of powder-coating the original rims but they do not sit flush with the aftermarket wheel arches. What brand is the wheel arches that you have installed on your vehicle? Keep up the good work.
Why did the Jeep do so badly in the video? looks like it was pulled out a few time....
The jeep always performs great, but at a trail like At Se Gat, which is quite hardcore, the tyres let this jeep down. Also, not deflating tyres prevents better grip, which in this case is what happened. On hardcore trails line selection, a good set of brand tyres, deflated tyres and a suspension lift will help tremendously. I think these factors made for a hard day for this jeep. Thx for the reply bud, the ranger looks really great, I thought that 2.2 was just too underpowered but you proved me wrong. I suppose if you want to make it really off road capable you need to spend that extra. For me tyres and a lift should clearly make a differance... Keep up the cool Videos
orallav7 to be honest the vehicle is very capable out the 'box.' I've seen a standard ranger do some impressive obstacles. Yes, good AT tyres and a lift will prevent under carriage contact, but improve approach and departure angles. Thanks for the kind words. Appreciated

It did very well, Amaroks are capable and more so with the right driver.

Rear bumper on your Ranger?
