Good review guys. The GP pinpointer looks like it does the job for sure. Would come in handy as a spare or back up. And the price sounds just right for me. I just may look into this one when it comes available. I'm thinking of having a spare for times like taking my daughter or dad out metal detecting with me so they would have a pinpointer to use. I don't think I will ever stop using my Bullseye TRX. I think it's the best pinpointer out there so far. I have my TRX on setting 3 for sensitivity which works great for me. Sometimes depending on conditions 3 might be too high, but I just tap the button to knock it down a little and it works out great. Hard to say on the color. I am so use to black, but orange would make it easier to locate if you left it somewhere accidently. Looking forward to seeing you all put it to the test. Thanks for the review! John
Good review guys. I just bought my nephew a GPointer pinpointer and did a review on that. It shows you dont need to spend a ton of money to get decent quality. Thanks for your time and sharing this info. GL and HH. Eric
I'm a good old boy from SC, I smoked for 32 years. I was wondering what vape you was using. I'm loving my pico squeeze 2 with the profile rda on top. Anyway I just ordered 2 of those gp pointers, for me and my boy. Thanks for the review.
Tom, you and Chester did an excellent review on the pinpointer. It seems to be a little stronger than the original GP pointer. I like the orange the best. Thanks for the comparison.
Thank you, Gentlemen, for the information on the new pinpointer. I have the original GP and I really like it...particularly for the price. But you can't go wrong with a brighter light and greater sensitivity. I usually stick with the orange since they are easier to see if you set it somewhere without the lanyard being attached. Still I am interested to see what the results are after you test it more. Peace and HH.
It’s been a year now since you guy’s made this video, ..I’m just wondering how much use you guys put on the GP2..and is it still going strong or has it died already? [Great review btw]!👍
So have you had a chance to give this a full workout? How has it held up? I need to get a pin pointer and this is on the short list. If it is junk I don't want to buy it.
It has held up well although I mostly use my whites trx pin pointer but so far it is great tool. If you are only going to need it for a short time until you can get a name brand the the first gen gp pointer should get you by for cheaper but has less depth. I have let people new to the hobby use the gp 2 and they love it. Good luck my friend.
There's a new fix for the g.p pointer. The problem is that the sensor at the end isn't pushed all the way to the end. This happens at the factory. This causes the notorious short detection off the tip that affects about 45% of g.p pointers. I popped the rubber cap off and inserted a stiff thin wire down the barrel alongside the power switch. When I hit resistance, I gently pushed the coil the rest of the way to the tip. The improvement was amazing. You can tell if you have one of these by shining a bright flashlight against the tip. If you see light, instead of the dark coil at the tip, you have one. There is two vids by the same guy on You Tube. Check it out, you wont be sorry. P.s you can disassemble the unit and do the same thing. Just takes a little longer. After you take the rubber button off, make sure you push, and hold the power switch in when you slide the battery holder out or you'll bust the switch. Theres one small screw under the the battery to release the battery holder.
Does anyone know how to ground balance this device?? I've got it and in the instructions there is a way to ground balance it but it says to "press once when in operation" but when i do that it just turns the device off..
If you can add my purchase link. goo.gl/7bZs2i thank you!

Nice review guys, if it passes you working test, I like the orange, easier to find 👍
Looks like it may turn out to be a fairly good cheapo. I think I would like it top be a bit louder, but not bad for a knock-off.

What a about in the beach?
Thanks for the review. Found that for 56% off. Cost only €15
wow, what a deal
@@flthunderdigginwrob3162 great deal! Been using it the last few days! Great buy
Thanks for sharing
The first one was junk did they fix the problem on the GP 2
It detects a bit deeper but I suggest that you go with a name brand as soon as you can. But this one dose pretty well considering its price.
Great review!
Worth the money!
Orange! Good job on the review~!
good review thank you.
Great review.

Mine just arrived today and the button popper is at the bottom now ;)
When the battery is not enough, the LED flashes.

Sick review
I can purchase one from 15$ and i think that is a very good price!
can you supertune it like the first gp?
I have not tried that on this one but I am sure you can but it already hits pretty deep so you dont need to.
I found mine brand new for £22.99 on E bay
Is better than gppointer 1?
I’ve had mine for about 6 months and the thing has not failed me. I use more than my nokta pointer. Purchase. Way better then gp 1
@@leifvaughn1172 i have both now, i agree
Friend, test video is very good, I want to upload it to my channel, but I will write your address. thanks .
